A lot of fans seem to really dislike Patrick Crayton.

I don't get it.

We're talking about a player that wanted to be a Cowboy and forewent the opportunity to test free agency after the '07 season.

And he was rewarded by getting benched for a completely ineffective Roy Williams in '08.

Did the punk ***** about the decision?

Nope, he went about his work and tried to help the team however they needed him.

The average Cowboy fan's opinion of Patrick Crayton is something I don't think I'll ever understand. At least I hope I don't.

So much is made about you-know-who not showing up, yet here (and I'm sure with other teams) some guys don't show up and it doesn't become fodder for the media to speculate how a player is/will hurt(ing) his team.

Funny thing is, in my opinion, it'll be Owens. Perhaps thirty or forty years from now, but it could happen.
