There is a thread about this already.

My guess is Ratliff would move around the line. I would guess something like this.

Start: Ratliff Tank Canty
Mix1: Spears Ratliff Canty
Mix2: Spears Tank Hatcher
Mix3: More Hatcher and Bowman mixed in.

theres no way canty wont be in the starting line up, spears & Hatcher//Rat & Tank // Canty and Bowman

Hopefully all will stay healthy enough and play well enough to create some debate like this. It sure is nice to have a situation like this.

Really? I thought it was much more fun when we had to recruit the mentally ill to play on our D-line.

I would love to see dallas put Spears on the bench during passing situations and having ratliff in then. Then again didn't they do that with bowen and ( mind balnk) last year?!! Remi scares me but I know little about Saivia outside he is big. Prossman

The Cowboys did this already last year in sure passing situations. Ware, Canty, Ratliff, and Ellis were on the line and Burnett and Williams played linebackers backed up by 5 DBs. I think the situation we're seeing is that Tank Johnson is emerging as a force, and he and Ratliff are both too good to sit. I think they'll be rotating at NT some, but Ratliff will be getting some of Spears' reps in the base D. Which is a pretty good indication that the Boys don't plan to re-sign Spears after the 2008 season.

The biggest strength when it comes to our defensive line is how versatile it is. So in reality, don't give them defined roles, and definitely don't give them defined positions. Phillips has always had an attacking defense where the opposing offense never knows where the pressure will be coming from. And with our current personnel up front, this makes his system and philosophy that much better. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the sacks/turnovers this defense will rack up this year =]

Go Cowboys
