if P. Manning doesnt win it this year, he never will. we all know he chokes in the big games. btw his dad never won squat either.
I still remember the chat where you told me and Dale Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Peyton Manning because he won a Super Bowl.

:lmao2:

Good times...

this just his second season, give him a chance. besides noone was gonna beat the Pats last year anyways.
Sophomore slump? Certainly isn't 15-1.

i dont remember Dilfer being one of them, and if i did, he was at that time.

Ben.
Eli will likely be a great QB but he's also a punk who whined his way out of San Diego.
Not that I am a TO fan but he got skewered for doing essentially the same thing in SF and Baltimore.

^^ You CAN'T be serious

Peyton is a HOF qb, and may one day when it's all said and done be called the greatest QB to ever play.

He has never won a Super Bowl and choked in big play off games yet you say he could be the greatest to ever play. He is a great QB but not even close to being the greatest ever.

Manning should go in the HOF cuz of his great passing numbers. But greatest ever....no way.

Peyton is probably gonna wind up being like a Marino, pretty stats but no rings, especially if he doesnt get it this year. which he probably will.

Eli is inconsistant, but he's thrown more TDs than anyone else in our league, and he engineers game winning drives in the fourth quarter do to his head, arm, but also his legs.

He's not as good as Ben right now, but I'd love to have Eli.

That's 'cuz defenses generally don't put pressure on Eli in their hurry up drives.

Maybe it's just me, but Eli gives me Bledsoe-vibes sometimes-give him time, he'll pick you apart. Rush him, he gets happy feet.

Without his blind-sided tackle T, he rushed his throws alot more than usual.

First of all, I wouldn't take either over Bledsoe.

Manning is a turnover machine, and Ben isn't the guy you want to go win you a game, you want him to manage the game.

If I HAD TO CHOOSE......I'd take Ben because of BPs conservative nature.

I would take Eli. I think he will be a better decision maker, reads the defenses. I like Ben's size but thats not enough for me to take him.

id also take Ben i mean there both yound and Ben already has played in the postseason so he has experience

Based on the dois years of experience, I would have to say Eli. But, that decisions is not based on much...

It sounds stupid Hos, but the kid has you. In the end, it's all about that trophy. Any QB that has taken snaps in the SB is instantly better that Peyton. The only edge is that Eli has his career ahead of him and Peyton won't have a defense or James at the end of this year. Hell, Harrison might raise some eyebrows and retire. Then Peyton will NEVER win a SB.

HA! Plus, Peyton Manning can't play in conditions that are adverse compared to the RCA Dome. That's his downfall. It also seems that Eli can't play too well against teams that play inside of a dome.

Id take Eli. The steelers were extremely lucky to go 15-1 last year with the cowboys game one example of several as Ben averaged like 15 throws a game it seemed like.

So Bledsoe is a better QB than Manning because hes been to a superbowl.

Come on lets get real people. The QB isn't the only player that gets a team to the Super Bowl. You have to have a complete team, or at least one dominant side of a team.

Any one who says they wouldn't want Peyton Manning leading their team right now is either stupid or a liar.

I'll tell you the same thing I've told CC for 2 years. If you find me one, just ONE, NFL GM or Head Coach who would take Trent Dilfer over Peyton Manning I'll agree you have a point. It is and always will be a ridiculous stance.

Agreed. It's a very weak argument. Of course winning the Superbowl is a tangible factor to be taken into serious consideration, but anyone who'd take Dilfer over Manning or believe that Manning wouldn't have been a winner on that Ravens team is an idiot. Also, why not expand the argument to other positions. Given his dominant Super Bowl display, Timmy Smith must be considered as a better running back than Ladainian Tomlinson. I mean the Skins wouldn't have won without Smith's record breaking performance, right? What's Tomlinson ever won?
