Who would you most like to protect from Injury if you had a magic spell?

DeMarco Murray. I really want to see what he can do over the course of a full season.

Yeah, we are screwed either way. I guess you can say it's destiny. This has to happen so we can start focusing on the future. Stop trading away draft picks, get a real coach, maybe a real GM, etc.

Maybe a real GM? That priority/need number one, everything else will come from that one simple move.

lol.. we are dead with or without Romo. What have we achieved with Romo?

"Dead" is being out of playoff contention entering week 17 which is exactly what would happen to the Cowboys the past 3 seasons without Romo. Those who think I hate Romo should read your comments on him. I've seen you list every QB over the past few seasons you would rather have over Romo from Brady Quinn to Colt McCoy. Put either one of them behind center in Dallas and the Cowboys would be DEAD.

If I had a magic spell I would rather use it to make Jerry disappear.

Murray has been almost unstoppable when he gets enough touches. I could see him getting 2000 in a season.

Only if he was playing against the Rams every week.

I would say Dez. Heck, even Weeden could get us to 8-8 as long as we have Dez out there. Kitna had a 5-4 record in 2010 with Dez.

I change my answer to these beauties!

Efficient QB play equates to more wins than how productive a WR is. The teams with the top 3 WR's in receiving yards last season all missed the playoffs. Two of those teams Cleveland and Detroit had losing seasons despite the production of their #1 WR's due to inconsistent QB play. The Steelers finished with the same 8-8 record as the Cowboys despite Antonio Browns 110 catch 1499 yard season. Weeden has only thrown for 23 career TD's so Dez would have a very difficult time duplicating his 13 TD's from last season with Weeden at QB.

Any solid, efficient QB can make just about any WR productive. Romo has produced 4000 yards + and no fewer than 26 TD's in every full season he's played with several different WR combo's over his career. The last time the Cowboys made the playoffs Dez wasn't around. The best seasons the Cowboys have had the past 8 years didn't include Dez but they included Romo. Romo has his drawbacks that a lot of FANS are in denial over but he at least gives the Cowboys a chance in the end.
