Who would you rather see win this weekend?

I am stuck between a rock and hard place on who to root for between the Giants and Eagles, Considering I hate both teams. Sp I am wondering,who would you rather see win and why?

The Giants, then they can lose to the Panthers.

I'm pretty sure my world would crumble if the Eagles ever won a Super Bowl. I mean, really, talk about Earth spinning off its axis.

Carolina and San Diego are the only teams left who do not sicken me.

Do you think that'd really count as a choke though? I have to imagine that unless they lay a Cowboys-like egg and go down 44-6 or something, they'd still feel pretty good about how they closed the season out and advanced in the playoffs. Of course, I'd feel good if my team did that, but my memory of such things grows dark these days...

That all said, I do still tend to pull for the NFCE once the Cowboys are out of it. You may hate your countrymen, but they are still your countrymen...

This is not college with conference pride on the line, I could give a dam about if the NFCE sends a team to the SB.

Division rivals are blood-enemies and the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Thus, whoever plays and NFCE team is my friend and when two NFCE teams play each other I can barely watch without puking my guts out.

This is not college with conference pride on the line, I could give a dam about if the NFCE sends a team to the SB.

Thus, whoever plays and NFCE team is my friend and when two NFCE teams play each other I can barely watch without puking my guts out.

With that mentality, I'd hate to think of what happens to you when two teams play outside of the NFCE. Are you even a football fan? Hey ...I'm just basing my question on your comments/analogies.

you mean that helped get you into the playoffs. the eagles had to come from behind down 10 in that game to kick a fg with 5min left to get into overtime and couldn't even get into bengal territory all OT. the eagles were lucky cinn missed the fg towards the end of OT.

i don't know who makes it off of tie breakers if you lose that game (same conf record, worse division record for the eagles and a split head to head) but it's amazing how tough the bengals played the whole NFCE.

I guess a "tie" can work for and or against a team in the NFL. In the Eagles case this year indeed ...it did work in our favor. Have you checked out or know how the standings work in the NFL? For example, a tie is better than a loss; but less than a win obviously. But the following stats will demonstrate the huge difference a tie can make in determining who is in the playoff and who is out of a playoff berth (couple with various variables of course) ...

right. and as i said earlier...if the eagles had lost (the bengals were more in control of that game IMO), i'm not sure who wins the tiebreaker between tb, dallas and phi...but phi was worse than dallas in division record and the same in conference record......i think it would come down to common opponents and strength of vicotry which i'm too lazy to research because it doesn't matter, we didn't deserve the playoffs this year.
