No idea, but it wouldn't shock me. I've lived here for 18 years this June. I probably know 4 Cardinals fans who actually follow the team.

I know more Bears fans in this state than Cardinals fans.

Could be a good game. Alot of people don't know or recognize this, but Arizona had the 3rd ranked offense and 5th ranked defense in the NFC this year. This outranks both the Commanders and the Cowboys on both offense and defense! It made me scratch my head when I looked at the end of the season stats.

They gave us all we could handle when we played them this year. I think the lack of a running game was what held them back from scoring mucho points in the redzone though.

I agree. The Eagles will come out hungry and ready to prove last season was a fluke. If we can beat them in week 1 it would likely end their season before it even started. :D

DeAngelo Williams is a lock to them if he's there.

It will be pro Dallas.

I've seen a lot of games at Scum Devil stadium, Most of them real good. We've owned the Cardinals

I still want my money back from 2002, the 9-6 game though. The ride home was almost as bad as the game.

I remember a lot of close games and last-minute losses there. And that 2002 game launched the brief Hutchinson era.

A group of us are planning to attend that game. I forgot it owuld be in their new stadium.

That is actually a pretty good guess. You know the stadium would be full. They'll want that for an opener.

But the NFL has NEVER scheduled the Cardinals for a home game in Week 1 since they moved to Arizona (because it's too hot and hardly anybody would show up).

Maybe they'd make it a night game, though?

True, theres also buzz of them trying to get Alexander, but many on the Seahawks board believe that unless Arizona fixes their OL, it doesn't matter who they have in the backfield, their success will be limited.

Of the two games that the NFC East Rivals don't have in common this year:

Giants: Seahawks and Bears
Commanders: Rams and Vikings
Cowboys: Cardinals and Lions
Eagles: 49ers and Packers

I see every one of those teams having considerable talent except the 49ers and Packers. If we want to hang with the Eagles then both the Commanders and the Cowboys need to win these two games in particular, because I can't see Philly losing to either SF or GB. I can definately see the Giants going 0-2 versus the Seahawks and Bears, which would be nice.

I think their new stadium has a retractable roof.

The new stadium will have a roof and A/C and yeah they could do a Night game so Madden and Michaels do it.

I think that we should face off against the Commanders..WE can start the season off right with a sweet victory over them...I think a win here would set the tone for our season..

I forgot about that. They were planning on having a retractable grass field, too, but I don't know if they ended up with one.

Yep it does.

Nice looking stadium, a lot easier to get to from multiple directions, with surrounding parking instead of 50 different lots spread over a mile from the stadium.

The Commanders....always:

1. They start slowly under Gibbs

2. More importantly, it's about the only way I can be assured of seeing them on TV on opening day.

We started 3-0 last year (winning 3 really tight games though), with a midseason slump and strong finish. Though I do agree that Joe Gibbs teams play best in December and January.

Saints. An easy win anywhere its played (new york even) and Bentley can show his former team what they are missing as he solidifies the center or our line.
