Who you hate more as the Skins/Eagles game approaches and why

I have 2 favorite teams, my Boys and ANYONE who plays the skins.

why more than the eagles

They've always been our biggest rival and growing up I absolutely loathed Gibbs, the hogs, smurfs, Theismann, etc in the '80's. We've had our heated games with the Eagles too, but the Commanders hate goes deeper. Probably doesn't hurt either that the Eagles have never won anything.

And before that it was George Allen. Oh, how he used to get me stoked up for a game. Long before the Patriots were accused of taping practices, George Allen was doing it, sending out his spy's LOL. The trash talking between players was common place, the take no prisoners play on the field was intense and serious as it could be. A genuine hatred existed between teams and fans. Man, those were the days.

Sadly, the Commanders have generally sucked for a long, long time. Not that I am complaining you understand.

I can't really distinguish between any of our NFC East rivals. There are times I hate the Giants more, the Commanders more and the Eagles more.

Right now, I'm feeling pretty equal about it. If the Eagles lose and fall to 1-5, it will be interesting to see things unravel some more. But on the other hand, the Commanders seem to be feeling their oats despite losing to us and it would be nice to see someone knock the stuffing out of them.

Considering that I think the Eagles are the better team, though, I think I'd rather them lose because I think the Commanders will eventually be brought down to earth anyway. The more the Eagles lose now, the harder it will be for them to bounce back into the playoff picture.

Eagles. There's only one team in sports I hate more. The Celtics but the Eagles are closing in on them especially with all the dream talk and failed hype.

I hate the Eagles more than any team in sports, but after Cooley's little comments I hope the Commanders have a huge lead going into the 4th quater and somehow lose the game because 2 of Cooley's 4 drops in the 4th quarter were tipped and intercepted for touchdowns. :laugh2:

Can't stand either team, but the Skins players have been such jerks and have the better record, so I'm hoping the Eagles win.

I think the federal government should first send all the current troops home, then instill a draft among Eagles, Commanders and Giants coaches, players and fans, and finally fly them over the mountains of Afghanistan and parachute them down to where all the crazies run around.

I hate the Commanders, and the next team I hate is so far down that list it isn't even funny. My hate for the Commanders is almost criminal.

As for philthy, that name speaks for itself. A nasty place with nasty fans. Philly fans are some of the lowest form of humanity I've ever witnessed on this planet.

I would not even admit in public I was an eagles fan. That pile of crap they call an organization and that fungus they call a fan-base, I truly hate. But the Skins make me want to do a swan dive-into a sewage when they win.

I loathe the skins.

HOWEVER, given Cooley's remarks last week, I hope the Eagles rape them... and Cooley specifically. Over and over, till he bleeds, and can't walk without looking like has some serious saddle sores.

Even though the Iggles have had our number over the last 15 or so years, the deep rooted hatred for the Foreskins going back to George Allen and recently re-fueled by Kook Cooley just keeps the Commanders as the much more hated team for me!

Any fan that found the boys in the 60's or 70's will detest the Skins till we die.

I hear fans talk about the eagirls and jints. I cant fathom how anyone cant hate the skins the worst.

After talking to a friend, hes like 15 years younger then me, he missed all the George Allen/Tex Schram/Tom Landry days. His recollection starts with the eagirls bounty bowl and Buddy Ryan and that period.

I can understand how someone would hate the jints or eagirls more now adays, but for me, no question about it, The skins so far and away more then any other team, its not funny.

This ^^^ I hate the Skins more and want them to fall to 4-2. All the games they have played so far was against easy teams except for us. I think Philly is in a must win situation this week and will take out Washington. If Philly looses... their season is pretty much over.

I hate the Eagles franchise with a passion every since the Bounty bowl games in 1989 and always wanted the organization to fail. I want to see this franchise die this weekend with another loss to drop them to 1-5 because of the Dream Team Madness. i'm asking this question because from chatting with some of you I get the sense that you hate the skins the way I hate the eagles. And I figured it must be the guys who watched the cowboys in the 70's and 80's because if you started watching in 88 like me it would defintley be the Eagles. So I know I'm content with the skins going 4-1 so the eagles can fade but i know some of you want to see the skins fall to 3-2.

Can I hate the Eagles, Giants, and Commanders equally?

The Commanders rivalry (many of you might not know this - I know Hostile does) extends to before the Cowboys were a team. The owner of the Skins back in the 60's pretty much ran the entire league and was very much against Dallas being granted a team, since much of his fanbase at the time was also here. The then owners of the Cowboys purchased the rights to the Skins fight song and threatened to not allow them to play the song at games, and thus the Cowboys were born.

I mostly hate the Giants for 2007. Nuff said!

The Eagles, obviously, because of the bounty bowls, but also because they dominated us for several years in the beginning of this century.
