The Eagles. Here's why:
I do believe in karma on some level and their fans are simply the last set of fans that ever deserve a Super Bowl. We all know the reasons. Probably what gets me about their fans is that they are the typical cowards we run into life. Get them away from Philly and by themselves, they don't talk tough and they don't act like animals. Get them together, get them closer to Philly, then they start acting more like cretins. Don't get me wrong, the Commanders fans can be like this as well, but I do believe they typically know where THE line is. I can't imagine a Commanders fan making fun of the death of a player's child.
I guess that bothers me the most. I'm the type of personality that I can always deal with con men, liars and bullcrap artists if they have no problem admitting that they are a con man, liar or bullcrap artist. If you're a cretinous fan, at least act that way everywhere instead of hiding behind your buddies and fellow cretinous fans.
It's like the movie 'Invinceable' when the owner of the bar tells Vince Papale that 'we're from Philly, we believe there's strength in numbers.' That's the attitude there.
And that aside, I hate how the media kisses their arse. Sorry, Andy Reid is a bad parent. Mike Vick ruthlessly killed dogs and was a piece of crap before then and outside of that. Terrell Owens was not a team leader. The Eagles handled the T.O. situation about as terribly and as dumb as a team could handle it. The Philly fans are not 'passionate', they are cowardly thugs. Having a court underneath your stadium doesn't make you better fans and it doesn't make it 'cute' or 'funny.' What Rush Limbaugh said was ridiculous about the media, not about Donovan McNabb.
That and more.
No team is stuck up more in the NFL than the Eagles. Which is saying something considering how some will defend what the Patriots have done to the death.
Commanders fans tend to annoy me because they are the type that could be wrong 1,000 times in a row and expect you to believe that they will be right again. And then when they finally get something right, they cannot tell you repeatedly how right they were. They also have an obsession with Dallas that is a loser's mentality.
But, they know where the line is...generally....and they don't have the media thinking that they can do absolutely no wrong in this game. One of the primary reasons why I love beating the Commanders is so the fans don't get that 'one thing right' and I don't have to hear them incessantly rave about them getting it right for once.
With the Eagles, I honestly look at it as good vs. evil.
