Who's attending Draft?

Is it still supposed to be outside? I hope it storms like heck there. I am sure they have a plan to move it inside somewhere. But I hope it blows up in their face.
Screw Philly.
And they have to still have the rocky statue, their paper champion. Idolize a fictitious character as their champion.....:muttley:....

I guess I am saying I won't be there....

I am up here working by Scranton, PA. Won't be able to go on Thursday or Friday but really trying to make it there for Saturday to visit the draft and probably go see the Rocky Statue. Anybody going to be in the area?

I live 20 minutes outside the city but will not be attending. I will be watching from my war room. Lol. Just too crowded with too many drunks for my taste.

I rode by there the other day and they were setting up at the bottom of the museum steps where the Rocky statue is located. So I'm not sure how accessible that stupid statue will be.

Nice. Could you post a pic of the statue here? Iconic.

Well I'm in the area and my cousin is working there in Philthadelphia so we going to check it out, yeah want to take some pics with phillys only champion lol I got some pigeon fans I wanna get at lol.

I loved the 1st 4 Rocky films, saw them in the theater. I guess some here who pan the statue forget how popular those films were in the day.

I was considering going Saturday. I don't know.

The draft is pretty boring on telelvision, especially the last rounds, I'm not sure how entertaining it will be. I sure wouldn't want to be a Cowboys fan in the first round...wait 28 picks and then if they trade out of the first...dreadful.

I couldn't imagine watching the draft live the year we passed on Steven Jackson to trade out of the first.

V isn't awful, in my opinion. It at least had an epic memorable line. "You know him down, try knocking me down now!".

Balboa wasn't bad from what I remembered and Creed was actually very good. It was an almost identical story to the original Rocky though.

I can't make it but do me a favor. Don't forget your "CowboysZone" poster.

I work in Dunmore, just outside of Scranton - I live about 15 miles south of Scranton

That being said, I will be watching from my computer

Real life Rocky: Joe Frazier. Wonder why he's not highly esteemed in Philadelphia? Instead, they chose a fictional hero to rally around. Go figure.
