Honestly, that might be our best option. As effective as Thomas was in coverage against Witten last year, zone may be our best bet against premier TE's right now. Just give him help over the top.

Zach Thomas can cover!! He also has bulked up to over 240. Yes, he doesn't have Winslows size but has the smarts that most don't have.

Also, in some packages, the Cowboys may play Henry over the TE, like they practiced in camp. We have the depth to be versatile.

Our pro bowl TE that many refer to as the best TE in the league...including the guy you're suggesting can't be covered by Thomas...has publicly credited that very player (Thomas) for controlling him in our game against the Dolphins last year. He held him to 2 catches for 27 yards...not bad for being 'washed up'.

Whats funny is K2 and Witten are different breeds of tightends. Witten doesn't have the speed K2 has for a tightend. But he makes up for that with good route running. K2 will get the best of Zach Thomas if they matched up one on one. Its just a Mismatch. He shut down Witten one time in his career. So please save me that crap. Let them play againts eachother again and i bet Witten will get the best of him.

And the DBs have got to be better. Don't they??? Adams needs time to learn the D and Scandrick and Jenkins need to learn to play in the NFL.
