Who's going to San Antonio?

I'm hoping to make it up to San Antonio for a long weekend to see the Cowboys.

I'll be there for a few days, Tuesday thru Friday. I plan on being at the big pep rally Tuesday night and then I would like to catch a couple of practices over the next three days. I want to at least see the full pads practice on Thursday morning but I'm not sure how many others I'll be able to make.

To get the San Antonio, I had to promise my wife a few days of vacation. Watching practice is not her idea of fun, so I'll be somewhat handicapped.

I've never had the opportunity to attend any camp. Can you guys share a little information?

Is there a cost to get in to the Alamodome? If so, how much?

Parking costs?

Do you need to "reserve" a seat or just show up?

I was thinking about driving down from Ft. Worth for the Saturday, August 4th practices. Not staying overnight, just going to watch then driving home.

It would be very cool for all who are going to San Antonio to set a meeting place and time. I know everybody won't be there at one time, but would be nice to get at least a few forum guys there.
I am planning to be there as close to the middle of summer camp as possible.

I'll be going, I guess I'll fly out there for a couple of days and stay with one of my best friends who lives there. It's cheaper to fly for me.

Heck I was at the Alamodome on Sunday............I'm ready for TC to start.

The parking was $5.00 per session the last time they were here. But you can probably park for free next to Sunset station, if you don't mind a bit of a walk.

It is not very crowded in the dome during practice. I haven't heard if they will be doing any ourtdoor practices like they have in the past, over at Burbank HS. Those were the best practices, because you were very close to the action and they were always in pads.

It should be fun.........I can hardly wait.

I haven't been to a training camp since the Campo days when they were in Wichita Falls. It would be nice to able to make it to San Antonio.

I've beena Cowboys fan since I was little and this will be my FIRST time to a training camp. But since Da' Boys are going to be here in SA for the next 5 years, I plan on making alot more of them!

I am going, When i Moved down to Austin from Kansas is when they went back to Oxnard so this coming Training camp will be the first time i will have gone. i have been to allot of games but never training camp i'm pretty excited.
