The first five and a half games we had an OL under siege, a passer rating of 69.2, multiple QB fumbles, and Owens and Witten weren't involved in the offense.
The last two games and a half we've had a resurgent OL (thanks to our QB), our passer rating has jumped to 93.7, there's been no QB fumbles, and all our WR's are getting involved in game. It's like we added a probowl calibre TE to the roster!
We still have problems in the secondary and we have made too many penalties, but several major problems have been addressed for good.

After our 5th win of 2003. Our team is sittin at 5-1 and is the biggest surprise team in football after 3 straight 5 win seasons.
A reporter asked Parcells a very very good question that week to only get an even better answer.
The question was..."Did you think your team would be 5-1 at this point in the season?"
After hearing the question, Parcells made that face we're all familar with when he is seriously measuring a response.
His somewhat glib, but probably very honest answer was.....
"Well....that would have been conceeding a loss and I'd never do that."
That's my feeling on viewing the upcoming schedule. I just can't conceed a loss. To hell with Indy, the Giants, and any other team some people think its ok to lose to.
I defy someone to tell me WTH is so special about any of these teams that we should conceed a loss.

I'm just basically sick and tired. We're 4-4 and now OUR backs are against the wall.
Its great to have Romo and I believe we've found our QB for the future - but I'm sick and tired of seeing our potential go to waste. Let's just start winning, shall we - I don't care how or what or who or where or why - just when. and when is NOW...
