Who's in?

Don't evaluate Dallas over the last 8 games, evaluate us over the last two and a half games-- because that's the team that's moving forward. I believe two of the picks in the Giants game and the blocked kick in Washington are abberations.

The first five and a half games we had an OL under siege, a passer rating of 69.2, multiple QB fumbles, and Owens and Witten weren't involved in the offense.

The last two games and a half we've had a resurgent OL (thanks to our QB), our passer rating has jumped to 93.7, there's been no QB fumbles, and all our WR's are getting involved in game. It's like we added a probowl calibre TE to the roster!

We still have problems in the secondary and we have made too many penalties, but several major problems have been addressed for good.

I would only go by the last two games only. Both games Romo had us in position to win.

dont get me wrong,I want to win them all!I'm trying to look realistically, and I see us going 2-1 out of the next three games.

Yep, on the way to 2-2 over the next 4. We beat the lousy teams, and lose to the good ones. Until we beat someone like Indy or the Giants, we will be a .500 team.

GROP and we can start winning again.

Indy is flawed-- they only defeated New England because Tom Brady threw four interceptions and the Pats outsmarted themselves by not running enough. Our defense is better than New Englands and we can also run the ball. We will beat them-- book it.

Don't forget that the Texas Stadium turf is good for a few injured Colts.

When it comes to looking down the schedule, which fans can do, I like to take the Parcells approach.
After our 5th win of 2003. Our team is sittin at 5-1 and is the biggest surprise team in football after 3 straight 5 win seasons.
A reporter asked Parcells a very very good question that week to only get an even better answer.
The question was..."Did you think your team would be 5-1 at this point in the season?"
After hearing the question, Parcells made that face we're all familar with when he is seriously measuring a response.
His somewhat glib, but probably very honest answer was.....
"Well....that would have been conceeding a loss and I'd never do that."

That's my feeling on viewing the upcoming schedule. I just can't conceed a loss. To hell with Indy, the Giants, and any other team some people think its ok to lose to.
I defy someone to tell me WTH is so special about any of these teams that we should conceed a loss.

Now, that's WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!

Nice post, sonnyboy!!

i'm sick and tired of fluke plays losing games for us, i'm sick and tired of penalties killing us, i'm sick and tired of spotting all our opponents a couple scores then try to make a comeback, i'm sick and tired of big plays against our vaunted defense, and i'm sick and tired of TO dropping passes that might have us at 6-2 NOW. I'm just basically sick and tired. We're 4-4 and now OUR backs are against the wall.
Its great to have Romo and I believe we've found our QB for the future - but I'm sick and tired of seeing our potential go to waste. Let's just start winning, shall we - I don't care how or what or who or where or why - just when. and when is NOW...

So, are you saying that you are sick and tired?
