just curious what you all think !!

damn.........i can't decide.

i will say this............ songwriters who perform their own music are hard to beat. comes from within.

Doctors I wouldn't say talent but Brains

Artists well now days anything can be called art so Nope not that either

Singer\songwriter ok this takes talent but not the most

Chemist not talent but brains.

Sculptor well this is it out of your list. I mean you either have it or you don't you cant fake being a sculptor and it take real talent. So IMO this wins.

I'm going to say that it depends on the individual. I look at talent as being a measure within a field. So you could have some very talented brain surgeons, and some not so talented. And there are two kinds of talent, natural and develped.

I don't think that qualifies as "Talent" though. Not necessarily.

Scuplting also comes from "within".

Anyone can learn the process required for brain and/or vasculer surgery, but not everyone can do it.

Artist is too vague of a word. Isn't a songwriter/singer and "Artist"? Isn't a sculptor and artist?

Chemist? Eh.

wouldn't it depend on the individual?

i mean is a recent college grad chemist more talented than Mozart was?
or how about a 14 year making rap or angry girl songs or whatever compared to a nobel peace prize winning physicist?

I think talent, or a gift to do something at an extraordinary level is too vague a concept to completely define.

I know a cowboy who ranches in Southern New Mexico. He can look at a calf and tell you which cow is his mama. When a single cow is being weighed on a scale he can guess within 10 pounds every time. When they are shipping cattle and have a whole bunch on the scales (20 to 30) he can guess the total weight within 100 pounds. Every time.

He can do the same for horses.

He can train a dog to work cattle like no one I've ever seen.

In my opinion he's extremely talented. Would he make a good mechanic, doctor, or artist? No, but when it comes to being a cowboy he's as good as they come. He has a talent. Maybe it isn't romantic or dreamy like some, but not a doubt in my mind he's talented.

I grew up on a ranch. I can work the cattle. I couldn't even begin to do what he does. I don't have the talent for it.

i agree with all responses made.

i was just asking a question to kill time till the draft.

no need to bite ol lane's head off.:)

now that i have given it more thought...i'm going to go with a woodworker as the most talented.

like the ones that built the grand staircase for the titanic or any of the old houses back in the day when craftsmanship meant something.

I've reconsidered also.

I think Moderators possess the most talent. :D

I don't know about that, if Moderators possessed that kind of talent they wouldn't have "easy ban" buttons ;)

Do you have any idea of the amount of training that goes into getting the mods up to speed with the Easy Ban button?

Heck...between buying the chips...and beer...it's at least 30 minutes. :D
