In think at the end of every season that it is determined that IT'S OVER! for a particular player or coach.

In the sense of a player, IT'S OVER! meaning their shot at being looked and playing a primary role at their position IS OVER!

Or, in the sense of a coach (Head Coach, Coordinator, Assistent, etc), IT'S OVER! meaning not likely to ever appear on an NFL sideline again.

With that I say Joey Harrington IT'S OVER!
Norv Turner IT'S OVER!
Ted Cottrell IT'S OVER!
???

I actually like Harrington's moxie. If Plummer can turn it around, so can Joey.

I think you're wrong on all three of those....the coaches will always have a job at some level in the NFL or college, and Harrington will always have great value to a team because he does have mobility and starting experience...teams love to have guys like that as their vet backup...plus, he's still young, and when you've been unsuccessful in Detroit of all places, that doesn't mean you can't find a measure of success somewhere else with a different organization.

Wow...at this point in the thread, I haven't seen 1 player yet for whom it's actually OVER...they'll all have jobs next year if they want them, guaranteed.
