Jerry Jones.
Jerry wants a high flying offense.
The only problem is he coddles a quarterback who chokes in big games and then they have no offense until the defense backs off and let's Dak get the easy completions.
The Cowboys couldn't run with Garrett, either. They made big gains until they got to the twenty, then kicked field goals because they never used the offensive line to it's potential.
No it's all just a hyped up circus, selling dreams to the fans based off what used to be.
These players talk a big game and sell their brand, but they are nowhere near the greatness that this franchise used to embody.

While the obvious is the FO ( esp for lack of bringing in a RB)…I will also add in Father Time ….he caught up to our line and that has brought us back to starting over and rebuilding…zack Martin is all that is left and he’s probably done after this year. They will need to continue drafting line help in the early rounds to finish the rebuild

Zeke was a pro bowler with garrett. I believe he'd still get over 1000 if Garrett was still here.
Garrett had nothing to do with Zeke’s success. Zeke was running behind arguably the best OL in the entire league as a rookie in 2016. That’s a big part of the reason why he had such success early on. Just two years earlier DeMarco Murray put up over 1800 yards behind that OL. Do you also want to credit Garrett for that? lol Once the OL started to decline it became more of a struggle for Zeke. He then started coming up with some injuries and declined.

Is Leupke # 2 option at this point ? It’s hard to make a case for anyone else but Dowdle and Leupke getting touches out of the backfield . An occasional series I guess for Zeke to give 23 a breather .

Next yr as a FA Dowdle will force this organization to turn to the draft . A team friendly salary and a possible return for 23 but only under a limit salary and yrs. Dowdle and a drafted back would not be a bad combo with UDFA acting as depth for those two in 2025.

Sampson of out Tenn would make a nice day 2 draft choice around 3rd round . Speed plus pass catching abilities . Tony Pollard mold coupled with Dowdle .
