They didn't re-sign Ladouceur and picked up Jake McQuade. McQuade is supposed to be very good, but I'm not sure why they let Ladouceur go. I assume maybe they were worried that at his age (39) he might hang it up anytime.

That would be logical, so of course it didn't happen. McQuade came in with the new ST coach.
