Who's the player you genuinely want to succeed this year?

I really want the defensive front seven to just campout in the offensive backfield. That's my wish for the team.

Drew Bledsoe needs to show that he can unseat Bill Parcells as the starting QB

I don't think he'll do it. and I expect Bill Parcells to post huge numbers as our starting QB this season

yea, kinda my thought. while i'd love to see crayton have a breakout year and step it up, i think at times fans tend to let "their chosen players" they want to step up put a negative bias on the players their "choice" competes with. (romo/henson 17 page debate here, i'll just giggle happily if either can step it up at this point)

i don't like the direction bp has us on, i don't like at least ONE of our FA pickups, and i'll be glad when the "shotgun" approach is over and we quit being a retirement home for aged qb's on their last hurrah. so till then i'll just sit back, watch the cowboys and hope as a team we have a great year.

and oh yea, crayton steps it up. : )

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? No mention of the OLine? :p:

(Quickly runs for cover...................)

at the "suggestion" of several posters, i'm trying to be more positive. : )

i would have to say julius bc i want him to gain confidence and start rippin off 150 plus yard games more often

Berry O and Rob......I'm really pulling for these kids. Both are hard working and have a desire to succeed.

I want everyone to succeed, but the players I think of most are the young guys who haven't really proven anything yet.

I want a 1,300 yard season from Julius Jones.
I want Rob Petitti to win the RT job and be the next Tui.
I want DeMarcus Ware to have a 10 sack season.
I want Bobby Carpenter to win DROY.
I want Terence Newman to go to his first Pro Bowl.
I want Patrick Crayton to look like a solid NFL receiver again.
I want Al Johnson to bulk up and look like the future center.
I want Canty and Spears to look like the franchise ends for the next decade.

Wow, couldn't have done it better. I want JJ to have a breakout year. I have no doubt in my mind T-New will have a pro-bowl year. I want DeMarcus to become a terror.

yeah, they're the only two players on our team that work hard and have a desire to succeed

I would like to see Julius breakout because he works hard, is a classy person and seems genuine in his passion for the game.

I would like Stephen Peterman to have a breakout year because he has had some real tough luck since entering the NFL, I am also tired of everyone ripping the guy and also because we used a high pick on him and I would like to see him provide some value to our efforts.

My last is big Rob because he is a hard worker and had such a tough time last year, I would like to see him pay back some of the ends that abused him. I enjoy watching lunch pail guys like Rob succeed, because it makes the rest of us who are slaving everyday a reason to really watch the NFL. Not everyone can be Vince Young and Peyton Manning.

I want Torrin Tucker to land on the field in Oxnard from a helicopter in all his glory, and immediately pancake at least 80 people and solidify a spot in the starting lineup instantly.

Adams, Kosier, Johnson, Rivera, and Petiti ... if that happens we'll be as good as anyone.

Terence Newman. He deserves a lot more recognition than he gets, that includes a Pro Bowl selection and, hopefully, an All-Pro selection
