Who's to blame for team not having HEART?

I thought I would never be more embarrassed to be a COWBOYS fan than after losing to the Texans on opening day of '02, but after watching the team put on such lackluster performances in losing to the Saints and Eagles, I am more embarrassed than ever. How can a team with SO MUCH riding on these two games go out there and perform at that such a pitiful level? I'm having a hard time deciding whether the blame for a non-professional effort should fall on the players or on the coaching staff. What do you all think?:bang2:

The players, it is their job and if they are without passion they need to seek a new career.

He take the thunder from the mountain, he take the lightning from the sky,
He bring the strong man to his begging knee, he make the young girls mama cry.

You got to hidey-hide, you got to jump and run;
You got to hidey-hidey-hide, the old man is down the road.

He got the voices speak in riddles, he got the eye as black as coal,
He got a suitcase covered with rattlesnake hide, and he stands right in the road.

You got to hidey-hide, you got to jump up run away;
You got to hidey-hidey-hide, the old man is down the road.

Aaah!

He make the river call your lover, he make the barking of the hound,
Put a shadow cross the window, when the old man comes around.

You got to hidey-hide, you got to jump and run again;
You got to hidey-hidey-hide, the old man is down the road.
The old man is down the road.

Aaah!
You got ta, you got ta, you got ta, hidey-hidey-hide!

Everyone on the team...there is no leader. No one with any fire and emotion like Jeff Garcia is doing for the Eagles. Romo has the potential to have it..I think everyone was all cocky after playing a crappy team. I dunno I reallllllllyyyyy don't know.

Keyshawn. Dan Campbell. Larry Allen. Dat Nguyen.

Darren Woodson.

That's a whole lotta lost heart with little in the mettle dept to replace it.

Wait, I thought letting Larry Allen go was the best thing to ever happen to tbis organization? :rolleyes:

It wasn't the best thing to ever happen but it was a good decision.

In his own way, obstinate as he was in the Parcells years to certain changes, LA represented the tie to the old era, the old WINNING era that was extremely valuable, imho. I saw even Roy quake before him. And that's a good thing that a young'un have that kind of respect for what came before.

At the very least, LA would have rung Owens neck by now.

I call that no small loss.

I'd venture to say he'd be kicking some ace right now in that locker room. What's Kosier doing? Losing an arm wrestling match to Scarlet Johanson?

That, coupled with the fact that his left nut could bench more than Kosier, and I'd say letting him go was one of the worst moves in recent memory.

In the past, we were limited by our talent. This year, we have the talent but have underperformed in key games. I think if you are going to blame Parcells for any losses, yesterdays loss was key. We came into that game overconfident and it's quite possible our head coach was overconfident too.

You forgot to mention that they've also lost their leader, QC. The team hasn't won five in a row or beat a good team since he left. Think about it.

How about a passionate DE, or MLB like every other good team has?
