if an when that happens you go find a quality vet hoping to get signed still sitting at home..no need taking up roster spot just in case that happens..I know we have Tony Pollard but is he the replacement should Zeke get injured?
He's got nice RB skills but I don't think anyone regards him as a full time RB.
It Pollard is the guy, who's his backup?

Pollard is a question mark because he has never been a full time RB. Ever. Not even in high school where he played WR and CB. So I understand where the OP is coming from.Who doesn't regard Pollard as a full time rb? Some people actually wanted him to take over for Zeke last year.

i dont he never started ever not in college and what was hit top carries count in the nfl so far 101? he had 87 to zekes 300 in 2019
now a game or two sure maybe he can handle it but over 10games not sure ..
moot point anyway zekes never really been hurt missing one game in the last what 8 years due to injury? he durable lie ES hes typically available.
hopefully TP get a few more carries a game anyway take little more load off EE id like to see zeke get 5 less carries a game in between the tackles and use him to finish drives in the RZ far more fresh..KM hasn't figured this out and has been terrible integrating the run game into his pass happy defense,,
using EE as battering ram between the 20s running archaic FB type run calls and having him wore out and needing play or two off by the time they get to the RZ and throwing it 10 straight times is not smart football,..

Thank you...confirmed!Pollard is a question mark because he has never been a full time RB. Ever. Not even in high school where he played WR and CB. So I understand where the OP is coming from.
I worry more about Pollard getting injured than Elliott. I care more about Pollard than Elliott. I am not an Elliott fan, especially after what I saw on the field in Elliott last year. Would like to see true competition for starter at the RB position, not Elliott gifted the position.
Rams just lost their starting RB Akers with a torn Achilles’ a couple days ago. They are already in backup mode. Hey Rams, you want Elliott? I know you don’t have 1st round picks but let’s talk second rounders.
Looks like auto correct fugged that up but good! Are you using speech to text or is your grammar and punctuation just this bad?
So you are giving up on elliott based off last year.
Holy moley....if that is your criteria you should give up the Dallas Cowboys.

Last year was just icing on the cake, so to speak. Parcells got rid of the druggie Quincy Carter in a New York minute. Can’t have addicts and people you can’t trust in important positions. Can’t have a star RB who is a druggie doing stupid crap off the field. He does not have the mental makeup to be a true champion and warrior in my book. Always something with certain players. He is one.
Michael Irvin is not the exception that makes the rule.
I'm not saying Elliott isn't beyond his best years, or that the team shouldn't be looking for options, but Elliott and Quincy aren't exactly apples to apples. Quincy never stood out as a player, and Elliott never failed a drug test in the NFL.
