Recently the offense has been the Kellen Moore offense, with all his bells and whistles. Do you think Mike Will have more influence on the offense, I know it's hurting him on the inside!

What kind of things do you think Mike can add to Moore's offense?? Give me your thoughts!

Moore's offense for the most part has been off the chain. Only issue is the endless running of Zeke up the middle to start games. Hopefully we continue to move away from that.

Call the correct plays inside the 20. No stupid or cute plays. When you are inside the 5, RUN more than pass.
Keep it balanced also and do not get pass happy.

You HAVE to be joking right? Running Zeke up the middle when it isnt working is EXACTLY why we have issues inside the 5 at times. Zeke consistently doenst get in!! Cowboys have had to resort to running Dak up the middle in those situations to be more effective.

Don't think the offense will look any different this year than last year.

Might skew more to the passing game, but that's a good thing.

I think with OL back in tact Dallas should be able to run with better success and I think that will allow them to do more things in the passing game as we set ourselves up in better down and distance situations

It's Kellen's offense. It was Mike's decision to have Kellen be the play-caller. Kellen designs the plays.

True but when putting game plan in place McCarthy will have a lot of input. Like most things in the NFL it is not a 1 man show there are others involved with helping to put a game plan in place.

Mike can give his input but it's still Kellen Moore's offense. It's not McCarthy's game plan when he's not calling the plays. No one is saying it's a "one-man show" and shame on you for suggesting that strawman argument. It takes the effort of everyone to get the offense where it is but stop fooling yourself, it's Kellen's offense.

But the "6 minute FG" offense is great for stat padding.

At times it does seem like Moore is calling plays to get into position for a FG. Maybe that's because inside the 10 he has no idea what plays to call.

But to me, the offense has to overcome the early problems that end drives. They need to put up points in the first and 3rd quarters. Finishing drives will be the key to the Cowboys offense in 2021. In 2020, they did not score a TD in the first quarter in 11 games. They did not score a 3rd quarter TD in 10 games. Some of that could be not having Dak but even in the 5 games Dak started they only scored a 1st quarter TD in 2 of them. A team with a bad defense needs to score early and often.

McCarthy is HC it is more than just input in the end it is McCarthy butt on the line if Moore fails it is on McCarthy do you damn right he has more than some mild input, this is no straw man argument Moore works under McCarthy not fooling myself. Believe as you choose

McCarthy can save his own arse by allowing KM to do what he does and stop interfering. If Mike is such a control freak as you are suggesting he will end up screw this thing up and getting fired. Kellen is the offensive genius here not Fat Mike.

I said nothing about being a control freak, as HC if he does not like what he is seeing he has the ability to tell his coordinators to change things up be it offense or defense. Evidently you think HC just stands there, that is total BS from some simple minded people. He is where the buck stops. Jimmy had input even though he did not call the plays, if he wanted to slow the pace of the game by running smith it was done. From what I have seen and read they have a good relationship and I have no doubt Moore has a lot of freedom but HC is still the last word on what they want to do heading into a game and through out the game.
