BREAKING Down MIKE MCCARTHY’S OFFENSE /HOW HE CALLS PLAY
I have grave concerns that either McCarthy himself is very hesitant to input any suggestions or revisions to add to Kellen Moore led offense - in an effort not to bump heads with Jerry management
and stay in their good graces.
- or if Jones themselves approach 'Carthy Day one with insistence that he totally leave the entire offense (both pass and run) up to Kellen Moore.
In the Jones' eyes, they may see how the former No.1 team offense in total yards (per 2019) shouldn't be interfered or tampered with.
- I frankly quite admire the scheme, route tree and pass designs of the
WRs- TEs of Kellen-gun, .
.. but when it comes to how he schemes for the RBs in both the run game, and scheming them in the pass game, i think he's been so bland, unimaginative and predictable.
- With Pollard's speed and able to flex wide or slot, and manuver in space, he should be one of the more dangerous pass catching/nickel RBs in the NFL, i fear his
next team may better utilize his skill set than what we've done with him here.
- All i have come to expect from Zeke run game is having him run delay draw plays and quick handoffs right up the middle (just like ex RB coach Gary Brown suggested)
in pass game its been just short dump offs in the flat. ....he has no patience- development when it comes to quick screen passes Zeke used to destroy teams on (sigh)
