Why all the Jones grandchildren in the draft Warroom?!

I saw the Browns war room and they looked depressed after their owner made them draft Shedeur after taking Gabriel.

I guess I’d have an issue if they had a bad draft but all things considered they potentially could have one of their best drafts in recent memory.
It’s sure looked that way, Berry looked like he lost his best friend. No confirm on the owner forcing their hand on that though that I have seen. Would not put it past the nfl league office on putting out some pressure on owners that they knew that they could work with to get him drafted.

Yeah that’s just a narrative that people have been running with. Browns surely didn’t look happy. But it probably was because they already took Gabriel.

FWIW on the Browns, in the 5th it was a worthy pick to take Sanders, even with Gabriel drafted earlier.

They need young cheap QB talent while they try to ride the back end of the tsunami wave of the Watson contract.

Will Sanders even make the team? Maybe he will make practice squad? Only so many reps to get in practice with 4 healthy qb’s, how do you learn anything if you are not getting reps? As a 3rd round pick Dillon ain’t going anywhere, Flacco is the starter, Pickett who knows. Won’t be easy in camp!

It's up to him. No excuses. He's getting his Chance.

Not trying to defend the Jones family but all the people complaining about his grandkids, who are going to run the team one day, being in the draft room, are the same people who will claim they're aren't qualified haven't earned the responsibility. If you were going to hand your business over to your kids, wouldn't you want them around watching and learning as much as possible?

Must be a miserable life always looking and finding something to b about, especially about something that is supposed to be fun.
Would you really want your kids learning from Jerry? Jerry is not qualified and you think he will teach those kids? lmao

I can't believe how many are defending the draft room having more relatives than scouts and coaches. Did anyone else see the video of other teams' rooms that had actual workers concentrating on their jobs?

No wonder Jerry leads the Forbes list despite decades of never winning anything.
I'm not defending it. I'm merely stating the fact of WHY they would be there. A family business is going to include family in rooms/decisions where other organizations do not. And yes to your point, the way Jerry has chosen to run this football team is why the football operations side has failed for 30 years. But as an owner, that's his perogative

This was all explained in Landman. The Dallas Cowboys are nothing more than a vehicle for Jerry Jones to have warm fuzzies with the family. That’s it. In essence, middle class schmucks like you and me are paying for a billionaire to be able to spend time with his sans any annoying meaningful conversations.

And you’re a bad fan if you’re not all in.

This is why @DallasEast and I are pooling our resources to purchase the team.

I have 4.3 billion secured from overseas funding. Where are you at right now? :p
