Why are we letting the defense off the hook?

When you hold a team to 19 points when it averages over 30 points, your defense is not the problem. Your offense should be able to deliver a victory to you under those conditions.

49ers had 2 long drives which ate up most of the clock during the 2nd Half. Many 3rd & longs were converted against them. Same story all season long many times.

Deebo seems to think he had 135 yards receiving, 100 yards rushing, and 3 touchdowns against the defense. Maybe there was another game in the multiverse he was playing in....

Was it asking too much for the defense to continue to do well against the 49ers? Their first drive after halftime it was evident they made adjustments, and the defense that played well all first half stayed in the same game plan.

The defense played great, but they had 3 int drops, and one from Diggs that ended up being the winning score.

There was a play where Vander esch zoned out and was day dreaming as the balls snapped he comes out of it and has a lost ook and goes back to cover a guy running past him, niners just drop it behind him as his backs turned. I'm pretty sure it was either at the end of the half or start of the 2nd half.

That's after 2 interceptions from Dak.

No blame goes to the defense. In fact they should be praised

The offense turning the ball over resulted in points for the opposition.

And even if they hadn’t, it was 19 points to an offense that was averaging over 30. Anyone calling out the defense is just looking to making a contrarian argument for internet points.

You mean bc the offense couldn’t stay on the field, everyone said the offense was going to lead to a gassed defense and that’s what happened. Your overpaid boy sucked it up, deal with it

dude I dont give 2 shats what dak is paid thats not the point of thread the point is the defense had a role in it. Yes dak didnt elevate the team enough to win and in fact contributed to the loss but to say dak gets paid 40 mil its his fault is simpleton BS.
