Why Aren't We Running the Ball Well against weak Rush Defenses?

IMO this is one of the major reasons we're not able to impose our will in these big games. Any thoughts? Is it coaching? Scheme? O-Line? The RB's? We're becoming one dimensional and Romo is not getting enough help.

I agree. It is panicked stupidity that Parcells loves to pull.

Probably cause our best RB doesnt see the field and our Oline cant really isnt that good.

Simple....our OL is below average. Just watch the Eagles manhandle our OL the entire game. They get some type of pressure regardless of how many they rush.
Need better OG. Rivera is done. We need to rebuild our OL.

because we keep falling behind and then we pass every down trying to catch up

Parcells abandons the run waaaaayyyy to early when we're challenged by a good team and fall a bit behind in the game. A crucial point in the game was Romo's first int. I think it was only 7-16 at that point and we're moving the ball well. First down, JJ gets like 7-8 yards and we go into a hurry up in the early part of the 4th? As soon as Romo snapped the ball I'm thinking "What the Hell"..... We just become way to panicked. The game plan is simular to when we had D. Hambrick playing for us. We just cannot run the ball consistently and I think alot has to do with playcalling. Romo is playing well but we're putting too much on his shoulders.

I am not sure we abandoned the run too quickly. Look at how many time we were able to pick up a first down on 2 or 3rd and short by running. We keeping getting stuffed in short yardage situations. That tells me our OL isn't doing it's job. If you are the coach and you have no confidence that the OL can get you 1-2 yds for a first down, you naturally go to passing.

futhermore.....we had first and goal at the 3 yd line and MB III couldn't punch it in on 4 tries......bad OL and blocking....it will drive a coach to passing everytime.

Rivera is done... KK sucks... u get some real OG in there that actually make holes and u may have something!!!

Maybe our O-line is simply worse than I thought. It seems as though we've had enough success running the ball this year to be able to sustain some sort of consistency running the ball. JJ had 100 yards @ Philly and came into this week with over a 4 yard average. Even with our deficiencies talent wise on the O-line, I still believe we could be running the ball better. Maybe I'm just frustrated with our lack of effort and passion from top to bottom with the division sitting their on a silver platter.

Sadly it was second and goal on the 1/2 yard line. We couldn't punch it in on 3 tries.

This was after two of the most remarkable plays by Tony in his very short career.

Rivera is a joke. Gurode is vastly overrated by this board. Kosier is average. Flo, is well, Flo -- sometimes he's great, sometimes he's not.

Colombo is a keeper for years to come.

Romo would have been wise to copy kat Garcia by running more often, but he waited to long to do it...:
