Watching the Eagles again last night, I came to the realization that this is a team with a great defense and a sub-par offense. Why can't we be the same?
Their best offensive player, outside of the oline, is Zach Ertz. He and Beasley have about the same level of production imo.
Their next best player is probably the RB combo of Sproles and Ajayi. Even combined they don't hold a candle to Zeke.
Agolohor is decent but nothing that we don't get from a Hurns or a Gallup or a Twill.
The rest of their receivers are trash.
Foles isn't nearly as good as Dak.
Yet they have a stud offensive line, just like us, that makes scoring points possible.
Now, their D so far is much superior to ours. However, I'm liking our chances to narrow the gap and to be a top 7 defense. If we can do that, then we have the same blueprint that won the SB last year. Except we have more dynamic offensive players. They got no one in the same league as Zeke.
