I am a bit late to the party here, I'll admit...I wasn't able to watch the second half of the LAR game until late yesterday and I needed to do further digging to confirm my POV. My indisputable conclusions and logic are as follows:
1) He's undeniably the secret love child of Jason Garrett (shown here in his younger days as our backup QB)...apologies that I wasn't able to find comparison photos of similar sizes; however, I defy anyone to deny the truth you see with your own two eyes!?! Coop is a "RKG" because he IS Garrett's own version of Jon Snow! Don't believe me? Look at their sideline interactions and the affectionate glances Red gives Coop that only a proud father can give his son.
2) Coop starred at a non-bigtime university from a relatively obscure midwestern football conference (MAC) and now is looking great early on as an undrafted 3rd string QB...sound familiar? Yup - you guessed it...he IS the second coming of Tony Romo (Eastern Illinois from Ohio Valley Conference). We all saw how tore up Jerry was upon the "premature" completion of Tony's career here...now we know that Jerry has found THE way to move on from that trauma and avoid PTSD: find himself another Romo! Jerry looks at that number 7 on Coop's jersey and sees it morph into a number 9 right before his eyes every drop back completion!
FACTS!!!
