The main reason Cooper makes the team is that Jerry wants to show the Eagles he didn't have to trade away a starting linebacker, cornerback, and 5 draft picks to get his red-headed QB. As a UDFA, Jerry got him for free.

1. if we release cooper, we may lose him because someone could sign him if he continues to play well.
2. if we release moore, we will probably not lose him because no one will likely sign him. be a QB coach and available if needed.

It was obvious to me, anyway, that Cooper Rush was the best QB by far in a Cowboys uniform against the Rams. Both Moore & McCown are pitiful. They are inaccurate, indecisive, which puts too much burden on the O-line. Rush got the ball off quickly & accurately, and would have had a much better QB rating had his receivers not dropped half a dozen balls. That throw to Gathers was a thing of beauty that no one could have defended. Rush should be our backup going into the season, & the other two don't belong on an NFL field, so can them. Obviously, it would be a good idea to sign a veteran, should Rush struggle, but I don't see it happening. He has the same stones that Dak has, & you just can't teach that.
