Why Cowboys' 'little bitty dude' Kellen Moore wasn't highly recruited, but still a 'baller

I'm not expecting Payton Manning, but I'm looking forward to seeing if the guy can play at this level. He's got a shot.

The chances are slim. So what? It's still fun to watch to see if he can figure things out with a very limited opportunity.

Exactly.

The kid has a chance. The odds certainly do not support the premise that he's going to be the future starter (beyond this season) of the Dallas Cowboys, but hey, you never know.

DDon I'm with you. His got winner all over him called traits. Does he have enough?
We'll see but I like players that have always been in the winners circle. No anointing oils
been bought
Flutie was short and also a winner in college and in the Canadian league. He wasn't given a lot of fair shots in the pro's imo. But he was tenacious and methodical in trying to prove the naysayers wrong. Kellen Moore fits this mold I believe.

It's sad, isn't it, what this franchise has become? And all because of ego.

I can not blame the fans. Some are too young to know any better and the others have been so beaten down over the years that they seek any semblance of what this team used to be. They'll take anything. Like a win over the Commanders in the finale of a lost season. It means nothing but yet means everything.

Things started going down hill the minute Jimmy left town !!!

Predictable in this instance is the reaction about a guy who is too small, has a poor arm, and can put up stats that don't truly amount to much if the team doesn't win.

Sounds like you are describing Romo here..yes?

Moore had a hugely better college career though.

I hope he does well. We can use something out of this mess to look forward to.

I do not want Cassel back.

Just think Romo, Moore and a high draft pick QB would solve alot of issues.

The next thing that has to be corrected is this running by committee thing.

We need a solid young back to improve the running game.

I love DMac and he can improve I do not doubt. I would like to see them use him more as receiver in space heading downfield.

Dude is a freight train.
