I have hope and faith in Jaylon as our starting MLB in 2017. I have hope and faith he will get extensive playing time in preseason. I have hope and faith he will be active in training camp.

I have hope and faith he will be, at the very least, a solid MLB his rookie year, and blossom from there on out.

Come at me bro/do you even lift? :)

I agree bro. With all this Info that's came in about jaylon the last couple of weeks imo he will play for our dallas cowboys in 2017. BUT....it will be a limited role. The nerve is an ongoing thing so it should only get better. But dallas will be patient with him. Fans wont. They'll say he will never be that impact player. Im thinking 2018 Jaylon will be unleashed at 100%. Swim or sink.

I see the "fan police" are patrolling at full force in this thread.

I just don't get why some folks care if others are getting excited about Jaylon and his potential.

I'll be honest, I'm hoping for the best but expecting not much.

But I don't feel the need to demand everyone else "tap the breaks", etc.

At the recent AA meeting one of the guys (I won't give his name) had Absolut Fear. Is that the same thing? He wasn't wearing a Jaylon Smith jersey if that makes any difference.

Absolut fear means fear of vodka. :D

It's the hyperbole.

Do you think the Giants absolutely fear Jaylon Smith? The Commanders? Are they terrorized at the prospect of facing him this year? I doubt it.

Everybody's hoping for the best. Cowboy's fans are unanimous in that. But let's see him actually on the field before we settle on extreme opinions.

Yes I do, especially Eli, talking about dumb face with the deer in the headlights look....he will have Jaylon coming to get him eyes look....
Cousins, well, he will throw picks because of him Jaylon, or to Jaylon.
Oh, and you forgot Went, or has he already gone into hiding in fear of Jaylon?

Oh, and don't take this a a serious post....thought I should throw that in for those that want to respond otherwise....
However, if he recovers and plays like half of what we want him to be, they will come to somewhat account for him on the field, therefore making an impact.

I will gladly eat Crow, just like anyone here who loves the Cowboys.

Cowboys fans don't eat crow, we shoot them, then serve them to Commanders, Eagles, Giants fans...or actually we shove in down their throats.....here is too another NFCE title in 2017.
Instead of eating crow, we just say we were wrong.
Like I was wrong on Swaim...I absolutely hated we traded away a next years 6th to get him in the 7th. Well, they still could have picked him with a 7th instead of drafting Gibson...but that is in the past. so last year he was looking pretty good with Das, until his injury. Now I really want him to be ready for TC.
But it turned out to be a good move. So I am one that trade....LOL...

Somebody has to protect the simple minded from getting excited. Can you imagine the horror if ignorant fans went around being all excited about Jaylon?
