So much was being made of "so much being made of Dak picking up that cup".
In essence what you have hear is an individual that is the opposite of what we run into in our every day walk of life.

People throw garbage on street.
People are super inconsiderate to others.

Dak is anti-shiphead
I'm like Dak. I put my grocery cart in the designated bin in the parking lot. There are some of us out here.

I'm usually the same way. Heck, I even straighten stuff out on shelves if something looks like it's about to fall off, like a total dork.

I don't understand the stupid rationale to insult romo to compliment fans. Those fans are the worst.
You may never understand it but confusion concerning what individuals rationalize doesn't begin and end with Romo. Different people have different perspectives about pretty much anything in life. Doesn't make anyone necessarily "more worst" than the next person. To me, what's sad (and sometimes scary) is what people may honestly believe within their minds is "okay" as far as how any topic applies to concepts of decency and fairness.

Wouldn't dak have been a higher picked qb if he didn't drive his car drunk before the draft?

And maybe that's why I'm slightly cynical. Dak is doing all the right things as a rookie, but things sometimes change for players when they experience success. I hope what we are seeing is who he will be.

I'm very happy he's doing all the right things now. His temperament and attitude seems perfectly suited to be quarterback of America's team. If he remains that way, then the future looks bright ... but a lot of promising careers derail. He definitely deserves praise, though, for what he's doing now.

I am so happy that it would appear we do not have to go through another number of years like we did after Aikman until we found our Starting QB.

Those were some rough years with a list of names that we tried out at QB and never made it.
Heck even when Romo went down prior to this year, it was another list of failed QBs that could not get it done
.
Yes, we had our QB purgatory post-Aikman, but there a quite a few other teams out there right now wandering through that scorching desert looking for that QB oasis. Our Oasis came to us before we were even out of water! Just imagine how Browns fans must feel (if they even have the ability to have feelings, anymore).

To his credit, he said when he got pulled over, he wasn't exactly drunk, but the test showed he was over the limit, even though he wasn't drunk.

I'm sure many of us, had a few drinks, felt good, but not drunk and not knowing what was up, and probably drove home.

Maybe if pulled over , wouldn't have passed the limit either even though you felt good.

Still a poor decision, only for the same reason of his career choice

I'm like Parcells when it comes to rookies. Yes.. I like what they're doing...but give me 5 to 10 years.

That's the plan.

Here's my take on that though. If you're waiting 5-10 years to enjoy something, by the time you get around to enjoying, it might be over – especially when it comes to sports.

I'm not waiting...I'm loving it...but I'm not dousing them in annointing oil either. There are too many others that contribute and who have contributed before they came along. I'm just not one to fall all over myself when the fine dude walks into the room.

You'll never see me in the "Hail to Dak/Zeke" threads. I'm not the one.
