He wants total control

He's all about discipline ( a great thing), but how can you really discipline players in the NFL these days. It seems that the players have all the leverage, ESPECIALLY when you've signed a new deal. Our guys don't seem to play well after getting the bag, can Deion really come in here and say "you're not playing because you're not doing good enough???" We're really going to pay players to sit the bench?

A lot of things slide in the NFL, look at Zeke being late for meetings. Deion said in his college meetings he wish a player would be late, and they have to be there BEFORE the meetings etc start. Would Zeke really be held accountable, he missed several meetings.

It sounds good it's a feel good story, this is the million Deion thread, but i'm looking at things from an NFL standpoint that may not work, which is why Deion in his heart of hearts would rather stay on the collegiate level. Please give your thoughts

Because he does not want 786 threads per day created about him over the same topic that are in other threads. :muttley:

I think he is one of the few that walks earth that could actually command the locker room under Jerry.

Players have mad respect for Prime as they should, as does Jerry and player discipline could actually be a concession if it were to get to that point.

I don’t see it happening unless they get the first pick and also take the son, which they pretty much can’t do anyway because of #4.

I really doubt it was ever the plan for Jerry or Prime, but neither minds the headlines.

Jerry is gonna die on Prescott hill, and Kellen Moore is coming back because Jerry thinks that magically takes them back to 12 win seasons. What it’s going to do is leave them in perpetual 6-8 win seasons, and Jerry “shaking things up” for headlines as he pushes 90.

Jerry thinks KM is Garrett 2.0.
As he still thinks JG was successful here.

Perfect example, so his son does something wrong, is he going to hold him accountable like he'd be able to do in college? He didn't let him play for a few quarter or something like that, would that EVER happen here???

This is Zeke's last year here, so he would not have to be concerned with cutting him.
don't care if it's his 3rd year, that's setting a bad example for the rest of the team, and being that your a vet that makes it worse! It being his last year and maybe the fact that we owe him money from his previous stint??

Deion is the only one who can control Jerry as he has the Star power to do so.
The way I see it we will be lucky to sign him and his QB son in the off-season.

This is the problem. Not like I am for hiring Deion Sanders because I definitely am not, but we need an old school coach. One who doesn’t give a About their paycheck.

The last thing this team needs for a coach is a friend
