Why did Micah only get credited with 1.5 sacks yesterday when the film and clearly shows 3 sacks

Is this what we call the TJ Watt Bias? Anytime TJ Watt even breathes on a QB he gets credited with a sack. I saw Micah sack Drew Lock three times solo yesterday, then today he only gets 1.5 sacks credited. BS.

That is why. Mazi actually hit the QB first as Micah scared him up into the pocket, before Micah finished him. I thought Micah would also get a half-sack on Wilson's hit, but the QB was going to the ground when Micah finished him.

Generational player? not yet. HE has to be reliable and consistent to be such.
and if you want a reason why fans are down on him besides the fact that so far he has not been either is his big mouth; which writes checks so far he has not been able to cash

I was surprised as well, when I checked MPs stats in a FF league that I have him in I thought there must have been an error.
Thought by watching the game that he was putting up similar stats to Overshown, but that was not the case, good thing I had both starting.

I watched Micah on most pass plays and he was doubled, tripled or chipped on almost every pass play. If they had better players on the line they would get so many more sacks. The Dline lacks quality players.

This is why I actually dont love the sack stat. I would much rather them just count how many sacks a player was in on instead of splitting credit. If two players on in on a sack give both player A and B a full sack, but then towards the team stats continue to keep it at 1.

I mean really if player A has 10 sacks on the year, but another player got in on a piece of the cleanup for those sacks so they only get credit for 5 does that mean that player A shouldnt be considered a quality pass rusher?

Yep. The announcer didn’t credit Wilson when the play happened, only naming Micah. It was only after they saw the replay they credited Wilson and said Micah was there to clean up. Wilson was the correct record for the sack.
