We live in a stat-obsessed culture. Anybody who watched the game knows how disruptive Parsons was, no matter what the final numbers show.
Fans like sacks. But Micah impacts half the plays in a game. He is the guy everyone on the oline fears and watches. That helps others and pressures, hits, as well as rushing a WB decision can be a huge impact and not show up in the box scoreThis is why the stats don't matter on Micah. I hope all this talk about dumping him goes away. That kid is an absolute beast. Did you see the play where they double covered him and he turned around the lineman so badly that he ended up running back towards his QB?
Fans have been complaining about him all year. He is a generational player. We need to continue to build the defense around him. With him and Overshown, this defense could be scary.
Do the niners fear micah parsons?Fans like sacks. But Micah impacts half the plays in a game. He is the guy everyone on the oline fears and watches. That helps others and pressures, hits, as well as rushing a WB decision can be a huge impact and not show up in the box score
Watch how they approach blocking him and you will get your answerDo the niners fear micah parsons?
You think trent gets help on micah? You really believe that?Watch how they approach blocking him and you will get your answer
He mostly lined up against Evan Neal who was a top 8 pick a few years back.Name the offensive tackles he went against.
Neal has been a worse 1st rounder than Mazi. The guy cz is obsessed with bashing. He mostly lined up against Evan Neal who was a top 8 pick a few years back.
Watch the film and Micah moves aroundYou think trent gets help on micah? You really believe that?
The answer is no but your pride is too much. Just stop. The corny go watch film won't work with meWatch the film and Micah moves around
Lol!IF the Jags would offer us two first rds for him we should take it
I like Micah and him being on the field creates plays for other players (even our average ones) but Overshown isn't one of our average players and from my seat he had the overall better game than Micah and deserved a Turkey leg.I also was surprised they awarded the Madden trophy to Micah. I expected it to be Overshown.
I saw one where Kendricks? tripped up the QB, and Micah landed on him. Not sure how that was credited, but it should have been Kendricks, IMO.Is this what we call the TJ Watt Bias? Anytime TJ Watt even breathes on a QB he gets credited with a sack. I saw Micah sack Drew Lock three times solo yesterday, then today he only gets 1.5 sacks credited. BS.
A healthy Trent fears no one. Completely agree. But most folks have to scheme for him.You think trent gets help on micah? You really believe that?
I saw that and was thinking the same thing, did Micha get a whole or 1/2 sac for that one?I saw one where Kendricks? tripped up the QB, and Micah landed on him. Not sure how that was credited, but it should have been Kendricks, IMO.
As much as I like Micah, I don't think he should have gotten any credit for that one. Granted I didn't see a good replay view, but it looked like the QB was going down to the ground, just from the trip up but Kendricks (I think it was him).I saw that and was thinking the same thing, did Micha get a whole or 1/2 sac for that one?
The issue with the Wilson sack is that Parsons hit Lock before he fell down. It looks like he was falling but you can really never tell. Should have gotten a half sack.I thought the 1.5 sacks were legit. He shared one with Mazi and Donovan Wilson beat him by a split second on another one.
He got one where he was the only guy involved in bringing the QB down, and half sack shared with Mazi.I saw one where Kendricks? tripped up the QB, and Micah landed on him. Not sure how that was credited, but it should have been Kendricks, IMO.
Right, I'm wondering what PFF saw, or whoever credited him with 3.He got one where he was the only guy involved in bringing the QB down, and half sack shared with Mazi.
most olineman sure but that's a low bar for the future highest paid defender. Plus that dude just didn't want to admit his everybody fears micah comment wasn't true. I don't think the top 10 left tackles lose sleep before playing micahA healthy Trent fears no one. Completely agree. But most folks have to scheme for him.
