Why Did Romo Not Go for the First Down

Troy Aikman is nowhere near as talented as tony Romo. And the fact the team he should be grateful for having the pleasure to be on won three Super Bowls has nothing to do with that.

If tony romo was the Qb of the Dallas cowboys between 1989-1998 then we win more than 3 SBs

Quit putting down troy aikman to prop up romo. That's lame.

What was Romo thinking by going for it all ??? He had a wide open Cole Beasley that would have produced a first down for the Cowboys.

Beasley really wasn't all that open. And Romo is staring at a blitz. You have to get the ball out of your hands, and you take the single coverage.

WOW....I'm speechless....did you watch Aikman play?

I been saying that for most of Romo's career! If Aikman had Romo talent those 8-8 teams would have been 6-10

Maybe Aikman was being generous and humble but Aikman has made similar statements. IMO, if you replace Romo with Aikman....i'm not too sure if they still don't get 3 rings.

I'm not debating that Romo couldn't have won 3 Superbowls with that team.

I'm not debating that Romo isn't extremely talent.

But the way that was worded made it seem like Aikman was just some ham and egger who didn't do anything but get lucky. Aikman has made statements about Tony because Aikman is a humble guy.

Thank you. I've been watching the play. Beasley has a guy behind him and he's running toward another defender. Romo would have to put some velocity on it to get it there and I don't think he has a throwing lane for that.

No it was a stupid call and it was not a catch. No controversial call at all

you get the first down and then go for the big play

Whatever you say man. I am not here to convince you.

I disagree.

Romo made the right call, he made the right play, it was a catch (and I'm not going to say another thing about the catch in reference to you cause you can believe what you'd like), and we simply do not agree.
