5, 6 and 7th round picks given most of them will be nothing more than practice pylons and cut by mid-August?

If day 1 in a draft is successful, then the draft is successful.

Let's see,

Drew Pearson, Everson Walls, Romo, C. Harris, E. Williams, etc., etc., etc. all taken after 1st Day or UDFA.

2nd round is very important.

current starters and key depth players on our roster were late round picks.

jason ferguson- 7th round
kyle kosier- 7th round
patrick crayton- 7th round
jacques reeves- 7th round

You never know. Colston last year was a 7th. Just think if we would have got him.

and thats just a few:

For instance, Leon Lett, remember him he was a 6th, and im sure you know Brady QB for Patriots, he was a 6th, patrick clayton was a 7th pick for the cowboys, and McQuistan, now he still is unproven, but ability is there, and NT Jamaal Williams, I think he was a 6th round pick for the Chargers,

why would you even think of posting this, here comes the chaos

My only problem with this draft was trading out of the second round in a weak draft class but I think overall it worked out pretty well. Its hard to complain after adding a quality DE and 2 solid Oline prospects with a top 10 pick in next years draft. Though I would of preferred Crosby I was also happy to see them try and find a long term solution at kicker as well.

Exactly.

Don't forget the potential of Watkins and Pat Mcqustin(sp).

You gotta realize your audience here... On this site, we dissect every single move made to who makes the Practice Squad and who gets cut the first round of camp cuts. we make big deals out of UDFAs. 5th 6th and 7th rounders are even more important.

True. They only point out a few late round choices that have been successful and forget the 85 each year who just disappear without a whisper.

I think many of us like rooting for the longshots.

I already adopted Brown ....it's kinda like having a gambling problem.

You wanna beat the odds.;)
