First off, I want to say that I was caught off guard with a couple of our picks however, why do so many of you listen or even care what the national media thinks.
1. regardless of what they think it doesn't change the pick.
2. It these same people that will critize us years later about the picks they said we should have made when thay end up bust. They NEVER admit they were wrong.

I personally could care less if anyone outside of Valley Ranch agrees with us. I'm a true Cowboys fan and while I don't agree with a lot of the decisions throughout the years. My alligence to the:star: to the stands.

Here is a simple solution to those that critize every decision that is made at Valley Ranch. The fake sideline GM's. There are 31 other teams you can cheer for find one so you can be happy.

For some, the national media are more informed on the topics since they are closer to the team/players.

To those who can read the game/players without the media, it has nothing to do with what they say. I have my own opinion, and I do not like how this draft has played out, in regards to helping our 2013 team.

Everyone loves to bash Jerry. Salary cap and parity have stopped the Cowboys, just like it has stopped many of the great teams of the past.

Whenever a pick goes bad, it is Jerry's fault. If a pick produces, then it is, a scout's pick, or a coach's pick, the equipment manager's pick.

You read a lot about how Parcells was such a great evaluator of talent. I remember how mad this board was when Jerry overrode Parcells and took Ware instead of Merriman. Jerry is just the scapegoat.

I bet no one on this board knows one percent of football that Jerry knows.

I agree Jerry is too easy to bash. But even if Jerry knows football, to a certain extent he takes flash over substance because it's easy to hype and sell tickets. This draft was heavy in talent on the trenches, and we've taken one player on either line. Then went on the outside and got a WR, CB, and worst of all another 2nd round pick on a backup TE, and ignored the most pressing needs of the team.

I understand BPA, but that only applies to a certain extent.

I know just as much if more about the game of football as any sports media figure outside of other current or ex NFL player commentators. Their opinions do not influence me whatsoever .

But unfortunately many people can be manipulated into what to think by the media. The democrat party depends on it.
