What is a reason why we wait so long until the last minute to sign our players? What do we get out of doing this, it seems weird like they like this they seem infatuated with it! If the goal is to make a news story and not get ahead of these deals early, them I'm lost!

Jerry and Steven want to prove to the world they can win “their way”. No matter the cost. It’s their life long cry and always will be. Deep down Jerry knows the only credit he gets for the 90’s dynasty is for bringing in Jimmy, and signing the checks for the guys Jimmy brought in. When he fired Jimmy, and Switzer won another one, everyone knew that was Jimmys team and players. Again no credit to Jerry.
Since the day he forced Jimmy out of Valley Ranch, Jerry has one thought. Win his way or lose his way. As long as it’s his way! His way has created a brand unlike any in sports, and that has overshadowed not winning for pretty much the rest of his life since 95.
Now he knows the clock is winding down and he either has to go back and be the big aggressive “check signer”, or, keep doing things the same way and not win anything worth mentioning. What will he choose?
Will he add guys like Haley and Sanders to help Troy, Smith, and Irvin. Or will he keep singing “I did it my way” and bring in guys like Royce Freeman and Trent Sieg to help Dak and Ceedee.
Will he draft like Parsons, Tyler, OVO, or go after dudes like Taco and Mazi.
