You guys wanted TO gone should be happy, most of you guy were like cut TO, Austin is ready......I'm gonna hate press coverage next season, when none of our WR requires double teams....

Once again it's funny how guys wanted TO gone, but now want Holt, Boldin and everyother WR out their.......

I do have confidence that we still win regardless of TO, I do think it was a bad move, even though we didn't draft TO, TO been release hurts and I think he was the fall guy...especially when Romo to me is a choke.....

I doubt we add another big name wr. We'll go with what we have or draft a wr. We have plenty of options. We should see Witten, Bennett and Felix catch a ton of balls.

We don't it is just that so many people on this board think fantasy football=actual football that they can't see the forest for the trees.

We need a deep threat. Doesn't have to be a big name, but just needs to fit in that role.

regardless of anything TO demanded double teams and now we have no reciever that commands that.. TO opened it up for everyone, I think JJ fell to the media ala, the Randy Moss draft....

I thought Austin was ready, everyone on here said Austin was ready to be a #2...

John Kitna will be starting by week 3.

I hope not, this is what Romo and Garrett wanted, now time to put up or shut up.............

We need another WR to soothe the butthurt fans who mistakenly think WR is the most important position in football because they play too much fantasy football and Madden.

Say what you will about TO, but him drawing perpetual double coverage had a significant ripple effect on offense.

RW11 doesn't have "big play" ability and doesn't necessitate the same coverage.

Expect fewer plays in which Witten is wide open jumping up and down in the middle of the field. Things are going to be tougher for our backs as well.

If you don't think we need somebody, I think you'll change your tune after the first few games.

Macklin baby!

:)

doubt he drops out of the top 15 let alone all the way to the late 2nd, unless he manages to get him self arrested for pistol whipping a stripper or something before the draft i doubt you'll ever see him as a Cowboy

The offense will regrees even further Witten won't be putting up the numbers and since Kitna and RW had success in detroit in only makes sense....beside Romo almost got benched in favor a Johnson last year....

So u guess, the Cowboys win without Irvin, or Frisco wins without Rice. not saying we can't win without TO, but you just don't cut a WR who has skills like TO, when your replacements or RW,Crayton, hurd, Austin and Isiah

We're bring out the FBC offense next year!!

Felix Barber Choice

Don't worry about being sexy - just win baby!!

I think the Cowboys have a lot better chance of winning without Irvin than they do winning without that dominant OL and Emmitt.

And I also think TO is not a great WR anymore and vastly overrated by Cowboy fans, and to compare what he is today to Irvin or Rice in their primes is laughable.

Just listening to Norm Hitzges talking about how he talked to 4 NFL scouts who all told him TO has lost an incredible amount of quickness, can't get off the line, gets frustrated and taken out of the game against the press and if you were giving his route running a grade he would get a D, at best. A 12 yard out route goes anywhere from a 15 yard out to a 9 yard out. They view him as a #3 WR on a good team that doesn't force passes to appease his ego. The only way he's ever a #1 WR again is if he goes to a horrible team like the Raiders who just don't have anyone else.

Last year he had ONE good game against a San Francisco team in disarray after a mid season coaching change. Take that way and he averaged 4 catches and 53 yards per game in his last 19 games.

It's funny the way some people  dismiss the importance of having good receivers cause it fits so nicely into their agenda of getting rid of TO. You'll be singing a different song once the season starts. Only the best coached teams in the league gets by with decent success without good receivers we're anything but well coached.

Look at the Giants offense without Burress, hope you liked the looks of that because that's what we're going to look like

I don't think we need another WR either

Roy, Austin on the outside, and Crayton on the inside

that's pretty lethal as is

and Witten is pretty much a receiver too, I mean he only led the team in receptions

the Giants had an aging Amani Toomer, whose probably about equal to Crayton, and a bunch of scrubs
