Why do we never go for it on 4th down?

Ive been asking myself this question for a long time. If you are 4th and 1 with our O line. Why in the name of everything holy do you not take a chance once in awhile? Worst case scenario the other team is in their own endzone. Best case you score a TD. I really dont get it. Other teams go for it on 4th down, A LOT. And we just sit here and kick FGs all game?

Of all things to be concerned about, THIS was the best you could do? lol

They run 4th down plays. Not often. But they do.

Garrett plays 'not to lose' than plays to win. That's why we always play to the level of our competition and rarely do we just dominate a team.

You'd think Jerry would bring in a consultant who had done the statistical analysis that proves that going for it increases your odds of winning.

Of course you'd think Jerry would do a lot of things, but he's riding his copter to the Hall of Fame on the back of a lot of cash he's helped the league make. Successful football team is somewhere in the middle of the list of priorities.

It's called.....no imagination....also called...no guts....also called...vanilla....predictable....
In other words...it sucks....

When was the last time we ran a trick play?
Giants knew we were going to run and run and run....lets hand off the Zek and have he lateral back to Dak for a bomb to Butler....how hard is that to call?

Because Jason Garrett thinks you win by punting, rushing better than your opponent, and sacrifice bunting.

I think their idea of a trick play is the jet sweep with Lucky...which they ran with success last year, and in preseason this year...but when we need a play on offense on Sunday...oh, they couldn't run it...pathetic....
