Why do you remain a Cowboys fan?

Because I've been a fan my whole life. Because of Roger, Tony, Randy, Drew, Tom Landry. Because of Troy, Emmitt, Michael, and Jimmy. Had I been born 25 years later, I'd hate this franchise. I'm getting closer every day.
This. Its the history before Jerry fired Jimmy and decided he was a football god. No one does it like Jerry as he likes to say I hate the man

i am just stupid and can not bring myself to root for another team i guess is the reason i am still a fan of this team.

I grew up with the Cowboys as a child. I’m going to remain a fan until the day I clock out. Those of you who’s fandom is starting to waver because of frustration over the teams lack of playoff success aren’t true fans, especially if you’re considering switching teams. Some of you would be switching teams every few years as you live in the moment. lol

The loyalty to my childhood heroes of the seventies that's about all I got on it they were the best of the best and represented everything good about sports.

This circus that Jerry runs now is the polar opposite of what I grew up watching.
I stomach it out of loyalty and respect for the Great Men that built America's team back when I was young.

There are no Super bowls in my future as a Cowboys fan Jerry has completely ruined my team

What’s the main reason you remain a fan? Are you a “can’t switch teams” guy? Are you a “one day when Jerry’s gone” guy? Are you a “the team is bigger than the owner” guy? Or are you just a “I don’t know anymore” guy?

Every year is more and more depressing, and I am r looking deep to find the answer to this question for myself. Perhaps I can find some better explanations from y'all, because I don’t really know anymore.

Diehard since 77/78, can’t remember the exact year.
Clint Murchinson, Tom Landry, Tex Schramm, Gil Brandt, John Wooten, Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Randy White, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Irvin, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, all the 70's, early 80s, and 90's Dallas Cowboys.

I am younger than Jerry, in good health, and I will see the Jonesboys die and the Cowboys ride again.

I said the same thing about Louisville and Denny Crum. Rode the highs and lows Louisville flew again with Rick Pitino, and are starting to fly again with whoever is this new coach.

But the university president was not the athletic director, and head coach.

Stockholm Syndrome?

I’ve been a fan since the 70’s. I don’t enjoy watching Cowboy games anymore. I will probably always be a fan however I don’t know how much I will be tuned in when the season starts.

Out of habit, and they’re the home town team.

My buddy that worked for the Cowboys says he thinks when Jerry dies there will be a legal battle between Stephen and Charlotte.
Charlotte would be way better in my view. She is smart, tough and has a touch of humility her old man and older brother do not possess.

Stephen is where he is 100% based on birth certificate and birth order. Fat, lazy and entitled are his three biggest qualities.

I’ve been a fan of the Cowboys 25 years before anyone ever heard of Jerry Jones. His time is short and my patience is long.
