So Jerry keeps Schottenheimer and Parker.
yeah but historical fact says you better be a top 3 team or have a ridiculous defense or first ballot no doubt HOF QB to make it to the SB. So you do kinda know even if you don’t want to admit itWhy?? Anything can happen in the playoffs. You just never know.
Couple questions: you believe the current construction of the Cowboys with Dak as the centerpiece to the team is the best avenue to a SB (not just this year but future years)? Do you believe in starting over with a different centerpiece or zero centerpieces (just lots of cornerstone types)? You really think we have played alot of playoff games? Go look around the NFL.
It seems like you are equating the Cowboys past failures with the playoffs being irrelevant. It’s most certainly not. If you want the Cowboys to stop being the soft Cowboys, you want them playing in as many do or die games as they can
I don't yell at anyone. I call out whiners. Whiners are annoying...and whiny...Heart and pride?
This team quits all the time.
You keep yelling at the fans. Your anger is misdirected.
Yeah. As odd as that might beEven if you know they are losing?
I'm fine if fans don't feel "proud" of the team, that's up to them, but at least root for them. The ones rooting for losses a month into the season!!!! are just by definition losers and cry babies and the epitome of the entitled, embarrassing Cowboy fanNegativity game day, in the first quarter, so many times , people had us losing and then we come back and win
It’s just a culture and it’s ridiculous, and it’s embarrassing, I believe people should be proud of their team win, lose or draw
I don’t know if it’s the age of the fan base, or just or the way society has changed
And perhaps outside FAs to come here instead of just looking in the window and passing us by...For me, it'd be to see progress. For me, if we are at least competitive in the first round, that'd be massive progress from the last few years. And it might encourage potential FAs-to-be like JPJ and Pickens to stay.
You clowns that think Jerry is somehow not trying to get to the Superbowl are amazing. Just because he's not making the decisions you think are correct doesn't equal somehow not trying.I keep seeing this recurring theme here about wanting to make the playoffs, and while I get it, I really dont.
Being on this forum I am convinced a lot of you dont watch other football teams play.
If Dallas squeaks into the playoffs, it will be to get embarrassed nationally. There is no amount of "growth" this defense can have this season that will help them against LA, SF, or a host of other NFC teams that run hard, and play to win.
So other than your own "fan" inside, which makes me question the word because any self respecting fan wouldnt want to just get there so they can be "right".
This team needs an exorcism and the only way that happens is if they lose, a lot, and the NFL pulls their primetime slots.
You want to know when Jerry will care? When that happens.
So please, stop cheering for other teams to lose, get hurt, just so the lowly Cowboys can sneak in to get curb stomped by SF, again.
Or please explain to me why you even want to get there. You know this is going to happen. It is not a what if.
They have 6 SB rings and got them all after our last one in 96, to surpass us 6-5. Just shows how bad it’s been.Pats had 5 SB rings to cuddle them at night. In recent memory.
They were ok waiting a few years, their GM and Owner had earned the right to a couple bad years.
Hows our ownership and GM doing on that front?
which free agents did we try to sign that went somewhere else? And perhaps outside FAs to come here instead of just looking in the window and passing us by...
but we're supposed to take your opinion on how to be a fan?Who is being emotional. I dont care if this team wins or loses. I am indifferent.
I find it entertaining the hoops you guys go thru to defend this joke of a franchise because you are too "emotional" to be realistic about how bad it really is right now.
We can really tell you don’t care!Awww here comes the name calling.
Yet I am the emotional one.

This team is a marketing company masquerading as a football team.
They are a Daniels injury and a HOU coaching staff away from being 0-5 and you think going to the playoffs is going to magically build their character?
And I am the emotional one? lol
Your entire thesis on the playoffs is what an emotional fan says.

In bizarro worldI like the underdog, cinderella
We could be last year’s Patriots
Gives me at least one more game to start before the offseason begins. That's it. I'm realistic enough to know it doesn't mean more than that. I'm also realistic to know that the Cowboys have remained a draw through their lean years and that's not about to change win or lose. The difference is that we'll reshuffle the deck chairs on the Titanic and everyone will get on board, and it will still sink.I keep seeing this recurring theme here about wanting to make the playoffs, and while I get it, I really dont.

If you've read my posts on the subject, then you know my opinion. But there are people that are of the opinion that anyone can win if you get in. I don't believe that. Bad teams don't go to Super Bowls.I keep seeing this recurring theme here about wanting to make the playoffs, and while I get it, I really dont.
