He’s not a particularly good inside runner. He didn’t really do it in college either.

He's getting a lot of snaps as a lead blocker, so I suspect the carries are coming at some point.

The last time I saw him get the ball down around the 5 yard line, he scored a touchdown. Anyway, McCarthy sure was talking him back a few weeks ago.Maybe we just have to be patient on this.

Yes he was, and Pollard did not follow his block and got stuffed short of the goal line.
Or maybe Leupke went the wrong direction on his block.

if the OL can't open any holes, then even Luepke will struggle. he is slower to LOS. short yardage is all about the OL.

Watch his td run vrs Pats. He is 3out of 4 when called on.
Compare to pollard, ....straighr at designed hole
Dowdle a bit more wiggle.

He doesnt get carries.. its the hierchy rule in dallas, notice how Duece, inactive most weeks, got carries week Dowdle dinged up, over Luepke.

I honestly don't have an answer, because it doesn't make sense. And I'm not thinking he should take over the starter role, not at all. Just 3-6 carries/game. I truthfully don't get it. He's been good every time he's had a chance. Good blocker, good receiver, just a football player.
