Still, if doing that costs a lot of money, and not doing that doesn't have a downside (or to put it differently, isn't necessary in any way), then why do it? Whether it's there or not.Because it makes me wonder why we even have a retractable roof if we aren't going to open it. It'd have been cheaper for the community to make it a fixed roof if they're not going to open it .
I know a guy who's never opened the roof of his convertible. He says it's either too hot or the weather's too bad. So why did he buy one? "I liked the option".
