Why has Kellen not given Turpin at least 2-5 touches per game?

Moore isn’t using our weapons because that’s precisely what our opponents expect…

Because you have to work your way into the rotation

i want Turpin in there too, but sometimes it may be other reasons

Easier said than done to get him 2-5 touches a game unless you want to give him significant snaps. If you give him 2-3 touches on 5-6 snaps then teams just hone in on him when he is in the game. You completely lose the element of surprise. Now if you give him 20+ snaps and you've motioned him into that jet motion without giving him the ball multiple times it works when you do actually hand him the ball. That is the biggest problem with these gadget players, they really need to become complete players otherwise you're wasting meaningful snaps to set up on play to get them the ball in space. Now if the Cowboys do want to use Turpin in that 2-5 touches per game role without giving him a bigger role in the offense it makes a whole lot of sense to wait until later in the year to put that on tape.

He doesn’t even need touches. Sending him deep once or twice a game could open up the underneath passing game a little.

they asked McCarthy about sending Turpin deep, ..and Mac said a lot has to do with press release and his length in running under catches ..

Would could've used BOTH Pollard and Turpin on jet sweeps like we see Rams run jet sweeps with their WRs, .. not just for Kupp but Turpin and Pollard would
have to be in those type formations so teams cannot beam and predict what they will be doing.

We just have the most imaginative coaches in this Kellen offense. .
