Why has Kellen not given Turpin at least 2-5 touches per game?

Why has Kellen not given this guy at least 2-5 touches per game. He’s exactly the type of momentum spark we need during these games.
Because he’s nothing more than a gimmick player in this league. He’s been out of college since 2018 playing in purgatory in summer leagues. His only skillset is being really fast and now is in a league where everyone is really fast!

His return skills are on point as well. Hope he breaks one this week. Opening kickoff would be great since we always lose the toss.

Throw a guy in there to give him "2-5 touches per game" could end up being multiple turnovers per game. Chances are Turpin does not have much experience at reading defenses and correlating that into his route trees. Miscommunication or misread means INT.

That's not to say they aren't working on that and perhaps he is introduced as an added dimension in the latter part of the season.

at least 2 to 5? I agree that he should get one or two touches a game but Turpin is another example of a guy that people on here thought was going to come in and play a huge role from day1 and it never made any sense - same with Tolbert and Houston when he made a preseason splash and Fehoko last year and two or three other guys each year including every UDFA who makes a few good plays in camp. A huge part of this fanbase seems to overvalue every draft pick and signing. Then another huge part of the fanbase thinks every draft pick and signing sucks because they aren't stars from day 1. If he is good enough he'll get his snaps. Lord knows the coaches for this team may not always make the right decisions, but they do want to win also...

Moore sucks that's why, he has no brains to use the players skills to there benefit. Can't wait till he is gone from this Garrett organization.

Turpin would have been a great idea. Of course we don’t do it. Moore is not a good situational play caller.
To Moore's credit, who did he learn from? The guy he learned from didn't spend anytime with a strong coaching tree learning situational football so why should Kellen know? This all comes to being the fault of Jerry Jones. Why do you hire an OC before you hire a head coach? We are still paying for this decision and will for years to come.

Return skills and functioning as an actual receiver are far different. He was a below average receiver who’s production declined every year in college. He didn’t even get an UDFA chance coming out! Have to be more than just fast in a league where everyone is fast!

They will add him to the offense with Dak. It’s likely they will have him run some go routes and if the defense is in the right coverage, he might get a shot or two this season. I saw him out there last game in our last possession.

thats an adjustment i'd like to see made.
he's gettin close to breaking a return all the way.
i would like to see some plays for him on offense.
if nothing else to draw the defenses attention.

what kills me is Moore explicitly said they will use him as a WR but he is nowhere to be seen,i want this guy gone so bad.For Daks sake he needs to go.

There's a lot of 150 lbers who really want him to be more than a returner, because they want someone their size to succeed in the NFL.

Rarely happens.

This is the stupidest post in the history of CowboysZone. Well done sir.

My question is why aren’t they just doing simple things to get Noah Brown the football.

He’s a tank for DBs to bring down.

that , but also jerry wants most of the targets going to gallup and lamb, they had 17 targets sun nite, that is half the passes!
They only caught 7 of them.
Noah who was rush fav target early on only got 3 targets !
In a game like this with rush at qb, they should have given brown the most targets as # 1 option.
save the other 2 for when dak starts.

The coaches for dallas were so bad last nite, it is amazing the game was as close as it was.
plus the whole team was bad. how many sacks did parsons have?
plus phil figured a smart way to neutralize him.

mike not challenging the 1st down then going for it with a pass play ??
That early in the game, that led to a score as well.
our coaches blew that game.

Hopefully Turpin becomes Dak’s favorite and take the top off after some big runs.
