Because he wants to see if he is any better at defending himself in a Texas bar tonight. If so...JJ will talk contract parameters tomorrow.

See once again your fuzziness eludes you. Those numbers posted were from 2005 before he got hurt. And Vela said, that he would be a great pickup IF he can go back to that form. BUt as it stands now, he obviously is not at the form, and if the seahawks (who did not have a great defense as it is) does not believe in him, i see no reason we should

His play dropped from best in the league to average. Watkins may be better than last season but if he was on par with Davis then he was a bottom dweller.

Ill take an average who is coming back from injury thatn a fifth rounder who was worst in the league all week long and twice on sundays.

Youvve been drinking all the Watkins Koolaid. He wasnt okay and it just wasnt just the four or five gaffes that are prominent. He was consistently out of position and failed to make good reads. In short, he was awful.

I agree! Him being a rookie should not be taken into consideration...he should be executed, huh?

Talking to you is like babysitting my sisters kids. Banking on a 5th rounder who played poorly is folly. I never said cut him but I realize that it is difficult for you to grasp that someone is something other than all for or all against a player.

Of course Seattle pass rush was great in 2005 and dropped off about 20% last year. DBs play better when you get on the QB.

I'm not all for him, however, I am willing to give him another year to learn. If someone comes along that can replace him? Go for it...

Hey, by the way, if your sisters kids do somthing wrong...whip their butts for not having the experience that a grown up does, OK?

;)

MAybe your into hitting kids, OTOH I am not. I am not opposed to letting him grow Im just against counting on him to start without quality competition. FS and ILB are our weakest positions.

And Hamilin was that much better in 2005? for someone who rags on JJ about his injuries, and health concerns you sure are itching to sign a guy, who had his blasted up, because you dont have faith in a player who was a rookie. Becase YOU think he failed last year, doesnt mean that he actaully failed. and isnt any better than Hamlin. cause the last time i checked Hamlin had as mant INT's as watkins, and watkins and played in wat 1/3 of the games Hamlin did?

I agree with you...competition makes the team much stronger.

Millions looked up to Russell as a prophet of the creative and rational life; at the same time, his stances on many topics were extremely controversial.

Food for thought...!
