Why I think we can go 12-4 this year.

Very good post. Wut I think is that if with the team we had last year we won 9 games, I do think T.O alone can win for us @least 2 games on his own. make that 11W's. one shy of ur 12W's u predict.

:)

Agreed. Not just 2 games via TO. He changes the complexion of EVERY game. His presence speaks volumes on the field.

Let's get to the season first before we start talking... we don't know if we going to have any injuries.. It's real easy to say well we going to have a 11-5 season or a 12-4 season.. but you never know who's going to get injured in many camp, training camp, practice, offseason workouts, or preseason.... Let's get into the season first before we start the predictions...

By the same logic you won't know injuries from game to game during the season either, so it's pointless to make predictions at all. Maybe we should all start knitting.

Tiki falls off.

I dont think anyone in the division wins more than 11 games. It's too competitive, IMO. Though I think we will be that team. Just as we have improved, so have Washington, NY, and Philly to some extent(just being healthy makes them better)

I gotta tell ya... I see Washington and Philly falling off the map...

Philly has got nothing left of offense and if it were not for a lucky end of the year winning streak for Washington they would have finished in 4th place.

As far as the Giants go... Eli seems to be turning into a INT machine and Plaxico is the magician that Pittsburgh got rid of... come playoff time he aint no where to be found..

What I find HILARIOUS about the Giants is that in their last 2 playoff appearances
1. SB vs Ravens - they were shutout on offense, lost 37-7
2. Threw up a goose egg last year

The Commanders scored 3 and 7(+ one end of game TD that didnt matter) points in their 2 playoff games last year

The Eagles, well the Eagles are the Eagles, the psychological shortcomings finally catch up with them... they will prob have another losing season.
You can start them off with 4 losses. 2 to us. 1 a piece to NY and Wash.

That puts us in 1st place. Winning the East.

you never know about schedules. Honestly I think that the NFC south is fixing to take a step back, (except maybe New Orleans). The AFC south doesn't scare me either. I think 11-5 or 12-4 is certainly possible. I think a lot of our hope rests in the kindness of mr. injury bug. If we can keep a reasonable healthy team, I don't care who we have to face, home or away.

Not likely! The Cowboys and Commanders both got better this offseason. People look at the Commanders and don't see much in the way of huge pick-ups and then use that and the whole Brunell thing and say we got worse.
First off, we picked up people who filled holes. #2 receivers, SS, DL. Only real huge piece we miss now is WLB. We missed that last year too, Lavar didn't play for us very much. So to say that we got worse, I think is ********. Also, we picked up a genius OC (Al Saunders). If we didn't make a single move in the offseason, that acquisition alone would do wonders for our offense.
As for Brunell, he is getting much less work this year. I think he can probably give another great season. But even failing, he had a pretty decent season last year. And Jason Campbell is going to be practicing a lot, so if Brunell does go down, we have a practiced guy behind him. Worth is unknown right now, but he shouldn't be rusty or need too much adjustment into the scheme as he will have been taking a majority of the snaps. I think our QB situation looks good. Not great, but good. Clinton Portis is going to be a beast under Saunders too. If Johnston can get 1700 yards, imagine what Portis could do!
But saying TO will buy you two games, or a kicker will give you two, that's just fallacy. How many times did the DEFENSE blow the lead? How is TO or a kicker supposed to help that? Or how many times did the offensive line allow a key sack? I agree 100% that TO makes you more competitive and a kicker gives you a better chance of pulling out a home game, but it's not as easy as adding wins like that.
