Why is Brandon Carr a lock for 53?

Broaddus praised Carr in his post game notes. Said Carr switching to the right side, he has been much better.
Broaddus is wrong just like anyone else. How could Carr be praised for this game? What did he even do positive?

I just read broaddus's column. I didn't see Carr get his hands on any ball (as usual). I do remember Mo and Scandrick break up a pass.

Because he is easily one of the top 3 corners on this team, has never missed a game and took a big paycut to stay in Dallas.

He shouldn't get any kudos for taking a pay cut, he's only now at what he deserves. He literally robbed Jerry Jones for years. And Scandrick, Jones, and Claiborne are better than him IMO. I don't know how you can say EASILY top 3.

Easily top three based on what? Please don't say (coaches opinion). You said easily so tell me why. I'm curious. I see a guy who is an automatic completion when in man coverage who has no shot at getting an interception unless a ball is tipped. But yes, he's durable
Automatic completion.......he had some pass breakups tonight. Although he gave up some catches and a TD is never Automatic

I see a guy who STILL doesn't know how to tackle. How have the coaches not trained him properly on tackling?

Yeah, how dare he accept what they were willing to pay him.

Man stop it. What does he cover? What's the last play Carr ever made? Seriously.

Because sometimes the best plays are the ones you don't hear about. Which means he is doing his job and actually has coverage on his assignments.
Why do you dislike him so much? I mean what does he do so wrong in his game that you don't like? don't say he was overpaid for his production, as it's not his fault he was offered a $50 million deal. Can't blame him for that. And he was never a big INT type of player.

How did he rob Jerry...he has played every game as contracted.
Goofs like Ratliff are the ones that robbed Jerry.

When he is targeted 8/10 times something bad will happen. That equals a bad corner in my eyes.

People really think he's a top 3 corner on the team? Lol wow. Nobody will give me specific reasons as to why though. Cute
Hes not a lock down CB but he has shown he can be an effective CB against starting caliber players. Otolaye and Thomas havent shown they can play at that level

Carr is mediocre. He just is.

But as a 3rd CB, he should be fine.

What makes him untouchable? I never hear that he's on the bubble. Deji Otolaye played in regular season games before and performed. Josh Thomas looks pretty good as well. Why!!!!

I would rather see this guy ^. I can not stand to see Carr getting burned anymore. I liked the signing when it happened and now it is time to move on. If the whole point of keeping him on the team is because he is cheaper than fine but he shouldn't be starting.
