Why is Brown on the hands team

The short answer is because we have the worst special teams coach in the entire NFL.

I'm not arguing receivers shouldn't be on the hands team. I'm saying Brown drops a lot of passes, and he didn't make that catch when needed. Were you shocked to see it was Brown once the ball was fumbled? NFL coaches are not all seeing oracles who know everything and make every correct decision. Brown's hands are simply not reliable. I don't care if Belichick and the ghost of Lombardi put him out there.
How many drops does he have?

Is 3 a lot of drops?

Fixating on an anecdote I see. I remember him being very reliable handswise particularly with Rush when all the WR were hurt. The groupthink around here needs work.

He's on the roster because his good has outweighed his bad.

Maybe we should have had Tyrone Smith with his bionic arm manacles on the receiving team!

That’s on Bones. You can’t just put receivers out there and expect them to be good at recovering those kicks. Noah has never come across as a sure handed guy.
That's crazy. He is a veteran NFL receiver and you think that he doesn't have good hands.

Really? It's beyond you?

It took a funny bounce. Wasn't that hard to see.

You guys act like he's out there dropping passes all the time. It's pretty silly.
They are nuts, plain and simple.

Is 3 a lot of drops?
Yes, when they create a pick 6 which loses a game and a onside kick loss. If the Tampa game was close, that loses the game. Clutch players are needed for playoff wins.
